We received the freezer quickly. The trucker helped me put it into my garage and took the pallet away since I did not have any use for it.
I was not familiar with the Danby brand but it appears to be working well and I experienced no problems with it after about a month. It set up quickly - I just leveled it and plugged it into the outlet. It runs well and is very quiet. The shelves are as expected but I had to buy some extra baskets (Walmart) for organization inside the freezer. I like the curved doortop. It prevents someone setting something on top and getting hit on the head when opening the door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AngieP Great product for the money
The pros are its quiet, has a light inside the freezer and we store it in the garage. Its easy access to the food and adjustable shelves. The only con is not enough storage on the door. Its also energy efficient.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by n2y2 Good Value, but much room for improvement
I was attracted to the price, size and Energy Star rating. It is manufactured in North America - a big plus. But, it came with some baggage.
When it arrived, there were large dents on both sides. I looked as if it had been dropped en-route. I had it returned and a new unit shipped to me. The second one arrived carefully strapped to a pallet (the first was simply boxed). Although it seemed to be handled with due care, it still had dents on the side, albeit less pronounced. I realized that it was cheap construction, not mishandling that was the cause.
They skimped on the door bins. I ordered extras through the manufacturer. After being transferred to several different customer service lines, I got gouged for shipping on them.
Finally, I installed the freezer according to all instructions - carefully leveling it. However, the door will not self-close. I often go in my garage to find the freezer wide open. It will stay closed if you make a conscientious effort to ensure it magnetically seals. But, my kids grab something swing the door shut and walk away; only to have it bounce open without noticing. The door doesn't stay shut or close itself like most refrigerators do.
