Customer Reviews

20 in. 38-Bottle Wine Cooler with Two Temperature Zones is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but louder than expected Unit looks very nice but the compressor is significantly louder than I'd expected. With the exception of the top shelf, not a good fit for bottles that are slightly thicker than normal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stops cooling after limited use and is unrepairable My builder included this in our new home. The first one stopped working after 6 months, and Danby's customer service was terrible. I called to have it serviced and found that it was not repairable. Fortunately my builder replaced it (with a smaller unit), but I had to pay $75 to dispose of the original one at the local dump. The one that was replaced lasted about 5 months until it too stopped working. I will never purchase another Danby product ever again as they are unreliable and their customer service is pathetic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Danby wine cooler this Danby wine cooler is a waste of good metals and glass. We've been through two in less then 3 years. NO reason for freon to leak within 15 months on both units, that's poor quality and ridiculous. Danby covered the first one outside of warranty but refused to cover second one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed My husband purchased it as a christmas gift for me. It came damaged, a few of the shelves were slanted making it hard to place bottles of wine without lifting the shelf. I did wait to call for service because it was functional and keeping the temperature as programed. When I was given the list of places in my area to fix the refrig, none would come to my home for repair. This product is very heavy and too difficult for me to transport. I am very disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 38-bottle capacity is a stretch Unit will hold 38 bottles as long as they're of normal width and height. Bottles such as anything released by Ghostwriter, which are a good 1 1/2" taller wont allow stocking the cooler all the way full. The unit does a good job at cooling the two zones at different temperatures. If installing under a counter, make sure there isn't a cabinet at a right angle closer than 15" away. The door won't have enough room to swing out to give the shelves ample room to slide in and out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would recommend Operates as expected. Chills down to 45 deg setting. Also chills cold soda cans. Warmer zone functions per 65 deg setting with 45 cold zone. Located in dining room. See comments for improvement.
