24 in. 75-Bottle Wine Cooler is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty great standing cellar and price I like the fridge/ cellar/ cooler (whatever you want to call it) and would recommend it. Good value in price/ size and quality. Wood shelves & simple thermostat settings. Beware of the delivery service though. It's a 3rd party hired by Home Depot. HD will tell you, you'll be contacted and given advance notice of delivery. I was not, and had the order shipped and sent back a couple times before getting the delivery on the 3rd attempt. Each time the order was canceled automatically and I had to reorder it. It was a real hassle and bummer truth be told. If possible, pcking up from HD yourself might be the best option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wine froze -- BEWARE. Price is good but not the product The cooler said it was 55 degrees but in fact it got MUCH colder. It froze wine, the corks on some wine (Pinot Noirs) popped ...ruined good wine. If the temp gauge would have been accurate, I would have removed the wine before the disaster occurred. would have been far better off keeping the wine in my basement without a cooler

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frozen Wine Bottles This wine cooler is a disappointment. After 5 months of purchase and usage, all 75 wine bottles were frozen solid. Corks of more than 35 bottles popped and destroyed our very expensive wine. Danby refused to pay for anything. Poor service. All they offered was a repairman that would replace the broken thermostat/control with another poor quality one. My advice, stay away from Danby.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wine cellar Unlike others, my experience has been great. I have owned this Danby wine cellar since 2006, and it is working fine. The features are exceptional, and it is a very adaptable unit. I have noticed that after short power glitches at my house, the cellar may lose control and run continuously, until I unplug it and plug it in again. It's never frozen my wine, but that's why I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5. I'm getting ready to buy another one, since reviews of similar products are about the same. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My entire wine collect ruined If you take only one piece of advice from this, please do not use this to store collectible wines. I foolishly did and I regret it so much. I had a small wine room with a wall mounted cooler that finally gave out after 10 years and I decide to buy this to downsize both the footprint and the amount of wine I was storing. I read some of the reviews but didn't do enough due diligence. When I bought this I filled it with 25 bottles of my best wine, about 1/3 of which were magnums. For the first couple of weeks I monitored it every day with a digital thermometer showing the highs and lows. I was troubled with the swings in temperatures as a typical day would have a 6-7 degree swing from about 52 to 59 degrees. I placed the thermometer in various spots throughout the cooler with the same results. That alone should have been enough to not buy this for the purpose of which I needed. But now I was into this for $800 and I settled for a less than ideal situation. Fast forward a year and I can’t understand why my house smells like my old fraternity. We let it go a couple days and then I hunt for the source of the smell. I zero in on the wine cooler in my garage and find all my bottles of wine frozen with all the corks pushed out and half the wine on my garage floor. They are a total loss. I’ve been collecting these for 20 years and I’m devastated. I started checking other’s reviews and I see this not uncommon. What makes this cooler so dangerous is that it worked for a year before malfunctioning. There’s just no way to predict. I will file an insurance claim but Danby will not stand behind this loss. I hope my insurance will go after them but I think my insurance limit is $500 so they will most likely pay it and be done with it. This has been a hard lesson to learn.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get a digital thermometer Product arrived in good shape. Easy to set-up. It's quieter than I thought it would be. My only complaint is that in order to keep my wine at 58-59 degrees, I have to set the thermostat in the unit to 50-51 degrees. If you buy one, make sure to get yourself a good digital thermometer to place inside the unit so that you know what the real temperature. I plan on just using this until I get a wine cellar built so it should do the job I am looking for it to do. However, I'm not real comfortable that this would be a long time solution for my needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the cost, this wine fridge is second to none. Overall, the product has performed very well. I was looking for a fridge that provided more storage and less features. I mainly collect red wines and a single zone fridge is perfect. The temperature is set at 57, but I noticed that it fluctuates between 55-59, but mainly is at 59. Not a big deal from my standpoint and I have been meaning to get another temperature guage to see if it is just the gauge in the device. Still for $600+ and 75 bottles(more like (68), it is a great bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very with the Wine Cooler We had been looking for a wine cooler made in the USA, can't be happier. It's quite keeps the right temp, and is the right size for us. I was very happy to find a cooler with a 5 year warranty on the compressor and AMERICAN MADE.
