30-Pint Dehumidifier-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from It stopped working after 3 years of service It worked good for last 3 years. Then, it stopped working. If I plug in within 30 sec, it shuts off. Kept it un-use for winters. Tried again, the same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to put together. Quiet operation. Easy to perform functions Easy for me to read. Able to do online warranty without difficulty. So far I like this product. No problem removing filter for easy cleaning. Set up to drain directly into sewer. Basement has already lost musty smell. Shipping was completed without any damage to equipment or box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buying my second, because the first was SO good I have had one of these running non-stop in my basement for 8 years. It has been fantastic. The customer service is also wonderful - they knew exactly what I was asking and how I should change what I was doing to fix my (user error) issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice small dehumidifier Works great in my basement and removed the large amount of dampness within a week. Very quiet. Able to use the drain hose provided that empties into my work sink so I don't have to worry about emptying the bucket. Hose can not lay horizontal at all or the water will end up in the bucket. Found this out personally but also found the automatic shut off works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product is attractive, small size, easy to empty. We actually had a mold problem because air conditioning ducts are in close proximity to water heater. Constantly dripping during heavy use. This dehumidifier is so simple to use and so efficient. Removes about 4 gallons of water daily, we empty before bed and again in AM. Will shut off automatically when full. Wet ducts are completely dry and unit is not even in the same room, although door has louvers. Entire lower level of split level home is taken care of. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid dehumidifier I purchased this unit because of the other ratings on it and I'm glad I read the reviews. It works really well... almost too well because I have to empty it twice a day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dehumidifier Following a period of heavy rain, my basement was flooded. I cleaned the water up and I thought after a few weeks it had really dried out. But then I noticed that some of my tools were starting to show a tiny bit of rust on the surface so I researched some dehumidifiers and found although one of the cheapest on the market, this one had good reviews. Straight out of the box I put it on the concrete basement floor and switched it on using the default settings. At first the unit would switch off after a few seconds until I realized that the water container was not quite shut. Once closed as it should be, it ran for 3 hours and filled the tank before it auto shut off. I did this 3 times and each time it filled up with water. I was starting to think that there couldn't be that much dampness in the air, so I took up into the bedroom and left it running again for 3 hours. When I checked it, the tank was bone dry, so I again took it down into the basement and switched it on. After a couple of hours the tank was full again. I repeated the sessions the next day and yet again the tank was filling up. By the third day, this unit started taking 5 hours to fill and by the end of the week , the tank was finally empty after running all day and the basement felt and smelled dry and clean. I was truly amazed at how much water this product collected. At 30 gallons a time and I estimate that I emptied the tank a dozen times over the week, that is one heck of a lot of water for a basement that I thought was reasonably dry, albeit the bottom of the stone walls were `slightly` damp. The basement is about 60 feet square. After one week, even the walls at the bottom felt dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! This is one powerful dehumidifier! And I really had problems with all the rain we've had this year. My bedroom is in the lower level of the house. First I noticed mold on my shoes when I took them out of the closet. Upon closer inspection my furniture had a light layer of mold! I purchased a small dehumidifier and was still having problems. And I sleep in this room with MOLD! So i did research and decided on the Arctic Aire by Danby! It amazes me the amount of water this unit pulls out of the air. Extremely efficient and no more musty smell of mold in my life!
