It's great! It's a small refrigerator - how long should this be. Meet me on Bora Bora with all my chilled wine!

I did a normal use for 3 years of that product and compressor already broken.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Vrata Bad purchase, lot of exterior condensation.
This is a cheap product. Not enough space between shelves. No place for lager bottles. Thermostat limited to a maximum of 50F, much too clod for red wines. The worst, condensation on the exterior glass door is bad/heavy. After two or three days of operation, the carpet on the floor was soaking wet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PLaRue Decent small wine cooler
This wine cooler came all assembled. It was too heavy for one person to handle but with two it was easily manageable. There is only one leveler foot so if you are placing this on a carpet, you may need a shim or some other leveler. I have owned this one month or so now and it is working fine. I would recommend this cooler for those who do not wish to spend more than $2-300. I have my own temp gauge that I leave inside the cooler and it is constant. I indeed holds the 35 bottles as advertised.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYGuy Solid Wine Cooler - Fantastic for the price
We wanted a relatively inexpensive wine cooler for our home bar setup and this Danby model was a great choice. It is extremely spacious and keeps the wine adequately cool.
It looks like a standard wine fridge. It won't turn heads, but it's also not an eyesore.
My only complaint is that the wine cooler will occasionally make a popping noise that is loud enough to hear in the next room. We're not sure what is going on with it - but we've chalked it up to 'you get what you pay for'. Would still buy again!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wandarella Love it!!
We were looking for a wine cooler that was affordable and with a stylish look. We ordered this cooler and we're very satisfied with our purchase. We ordered it online and it was shipped to the store in a timely manner. The size of the unit is ideal for the space we have for it and it is very quiet. The bottles are chilled to our liking and we look forward to entertaining now that we have made such a great purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ElvisFan Nothing fancy, but well worth the money.
I have bought several of these (3) as gifts and for myself. I purchased the first one 6 years ago and it is still going strong. I got the second one as a gift for friends 2 years ago, and they're very happy with it. The third seems to be working great a couple of weeks in.
I like to keep a few special bottles around ($80-100) and stock up on value wines that I can buy a bunch of and store when I find ones I like at a good price. This works perfectly for me. I don't have to worry about my apartment getting too hot in the summer with the wines safely put away... and lets be honest, it looks cool to have a special place for your wine even on a budget.
I know other's have said they've had quality control issues or damaged deliveries, but I've been nothing but happy - 3 for 3, over a seven year period.
High bottle count, low cost.
Easy set up, just plug it in. Simple. Aesthetically pleasing in black and grey pairs well with any decor from white to stainless.
Can easily change the side that the door opens from with a simple hand held philips head screwdriver.
Not a built in, so you can put it where you want it, and it comes up to counter height so you'll get an extra surface to display a decanter and glasses, place a small toaster oven or microwave on top, or set a cutting board on top to extend your kitchen work surfaces.
It does have that interior light to show off the contents, but I never bother turning it on... maybe once or twice to show people how cool it looks.
CONs (although this is getting really picky)
The compressor does make a little noise now and again so it's not TOTALLY silent, but it's less noise than my refrigerator and doesn't bother me at all when I'm in the room with it, or in the next room watching TV or reading.
Temperature isn't a perfect setting or digital, but it does keep the wine below room temp within a safe range for storage. I would hope a "serious" collector would be looking at a much higher end solution given the cost of their investment in wine.
All entry level wine refrigerators are designed for bordeaux bottles, so the fatter syrah and pinot bottle have to be alternated to fit. The wire racks don't look quite as high end as the wood, but they do help with storing odder shaped bottles. The truth is you never get as many bottle as they advertise into one of these, so you may as well get a little more room than what you think you might need.
