To get 50 bottles, do you lay them with necks together interlaced? Or is this unit only deep enough to lay them fully side by side? Thanks!!

Answer:
Technically you could cram 50 bottles into this fridge by interlacing them very tightly. It would be quite hard to read the labels and get them out, though. 20-30 bottles are more realistic.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly designed features I was looking for something a little more high end I guess. The racks are very poorly designed. Racks simply slide on top of the molded ABA type plastic inner liner. Because of the design to limit how far the rack can be pulled out, you are unable to access the rear portion of the rack for the second row of bottles without much difficulty. I would not recommend this model. October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Temperature control stopped working after 18 months The fridge was fine when it worked. 50 bottles is somewhat of an overstatement (you would have to cram them in there really hard), but the fridge comfortably holds about 20 - which is enough for our needs. Unfortunately the temperature control stopped working after just 18 month. We set it at 48 degrees, and it started to fluctuate between 47 and 50, then up to 52, 60, 70 and eventually 80 degrees. It now doesn't cool anymore at all. The warranty expired, and we are stuck with a fridge that is likely more expensive to fix than it is worth. We did our research and thought this was a good product after reading various ratings and reviews, but unfortunately we ended up with a dud. Very disappointing. Will not consider Danby again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Wine Cooler Had this wine cooler recently installed with our new kitchen remodel, looks great and high end for the price. Works great and no issues so far! July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Knock on Wood: we like it! I always prefer reviews from someone who has owned a product longer than 1 week. We purchased this wine cooler over 1 year ago and have been pleased with it. We use it like a dual zone - although it is not a true dual zone. It looks great free standing and as a built-in. It keeps a good temperature and has good storage. The only negatives we have are that the fan cycles a little on the noisier side - but not enough to really bother us. (It is slightly nosier than the GE Profile refrigerator we have.) Also you need to be careful pulling out the shelves that have bottles on them as they are not on drawer slides. Aside from that - good value, good product. October 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This wine cooler is great, especially for the price. It is quiet and keeps a constant temperature. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Danby 50-Bottle Fits The Bill With the caveat that I have used the wine cooler for only a month, it appears to be a high quality unit at a very competitive price point. It's realatively quite compared to the high-end built-in GE unit that I had in my previous home. Great styling...wood-faced racks and smoked glass door with digital temp display make for an attractive package. It holds temperature very well and bottle capacity is as described. So far, quite impressed! April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Choice / Stylish / Great Value After searching endlessly for a replacement wine cooler to update my kitchen I was surprised and delighted when my research led me to this striking appliance. It was only 1/4 the price of my slated budget and performs fantastic. I was hesitant to purchase because of some of the other reviews. It is extremely extremely quiet and looks amazing. May 11, 2014
