We did a total remodel of our main bathroom and the shower head was installed in our new tile at the same height as the old one and Unfortunately our new tub is a soaking tub not an insert which made the bottom much lower when standing in it. I am 5'5" and could not reach it unless standing in tip toes.
(Not Good) My mother is coming to stay for the winter and is 5'2" and 82 years old also (Not Good),
We went to Home Depot and explained our dilemma and was given a couple of ways to fix this problem.
All of our hardware is in brushed nickel and brand new and the store only had this part in chrome.
We were then escorted to the Kitchen and Bath department where another associate had a computer and a catalog where she found this part by another manufacturer in perfect finish we needed.
The part was ordered and was easy to install and for $42.00 all the existing parts we had are all in use and are 12" lower and adjustable, problem solved.
THANKS HOME DEPOT!!

This brushed nickel shower arm arrived in a timely manner. It is as described. Works well. I've tried 'other' shower arms from other places found 'in' stores with pull knobs which I did not care for and which all leaked. I prefer the 'lever' on this one and no issues at all with this one. I have it attached to a diverter as well (also purchased through Home Depot) and still no issues.
Female who can attest to how easy it is to install.

Easy to install. No particular skill required. Looks nice with good overall design. Appears to be sturdy but only time will tell how well it stands up.

I have other shower arms from other stores but I don't like the levers on those. I ordered this one because it had a nicer lever and so far works well.

Last night went to install the new arm and by surprise found out that one of the tip pieces want screw on place. Went try to screw in the piece was defected and nothing I can do about it. I will be going back to the store to returne and exchange the piece for a good one. Wait 20 days for the delivery to the store and now came in defected. :(

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1j9l5p1 The adjustable shower arm was one of my best ideas on how to modify a problem in my small shower stall.
The adjustable shower arm was easy to install and helped solve a problem of cold water splashing back on the bather when he/she would first turn the shower water on. It gave me the flexibility that the previous shower head with attached hose did not provide without having to physically remove the shower head from its cradle and hold it away from the you until the water reached the desired warm temperature. The adjustability of the shower arm allows you to lower the shower head and then turn it towards the inside wall away from the bather prior to turning the water on. Once the water reaches the desired temperature the bather then easily readjusts the arm to the new position desired. Once installed it looked great and we were very pleased with its improved functionality.

From previous reviews here this product looked like just the answer to the shower heads in our new home being too high.
WRONG!!! With only a moderate tightening of the lower rotating joint - it BROKE!!!
We ordered two: one for each shower. No point in trying the second one! Back to Home Depot to return them.
