I used it to pull up broken tile. the rubber hand protector saved my hands not only from the wayward hammer swing but also vibrations. It was a good tool.

Bought 2 to help take off a huge amount of 12x12 ceramic tile. I wanted the larger tip, which this had, but then decided on this one because of the handle grip and the protective end. I can't believe I am reviewing a chisel, but I am. :) The protective yellow end saved my hand from a hammer wack, daughter's too, on many occasion. In addition, once I was able to get the tip under the tile, I could just let go of the chisel and let the protective end act as an anchor. It was awesome!! Able to get up large chunks, and often entire piece of ceramic.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by acoustic58 This worked the best for me
I tried everything to remove 150 floor tiles and the only thing that worked was this chisel and a 3 LBS small sledge hammer. Its the combination of the weight behind the sledge that drives this chisel under the tiles and breaks them up with very little effort. There is no reason to buy anything expensive.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John Great for removing cement tile!
The chisel helped me remove 75 square feet of 3/4 inch cement tile. Protected my hand from several misplaced hammer blows. Glad I made the purchase!

I/m using this chisel to break stone rocks for my yard project... I use a piece of chalk, draw a line on the rock then score the line with the chisel.. go back then really go after the score with bigger and harder hits,, works great.. Worth ever penny I paid for this.. Some of the rocks are 10 inches thick so might have to do both sides to get a good line on the crack. smaller one no problem wear some glasses are goggles. the guard is great since I can use more force to hit the chisel.. with my smaller chisel had to be more careful and of course would take 3/4 times as long to cut a rock.
