PROS: We have have bought this same model three times. The door that slides forward and to the left allows for the coffee filter (and coffee) as well as adding the water to be done with out lifting up, so it fits under a standard kitchen cabinet and you don't have to pull it out to lift the top as with most other coffee makers. This model seems to be the only one that has this feature that we have found. Very efficient with clock and timer.
CON: Like I said above, this is the third one we have bought (first from Home Depot). They last about 2-3 years before they begin to leak (water, not coffee already made), even with cleaning regularly. We thought maybe it was just a defect that came to life with the first one, but when the second one did the same, it is something in the product itself. This (third) one may be better as they may have discovered the problem. Even with the lifespan only 2-3 years, we still like this model enough to buy a third one, however was not willing to pay 79.00- 99.00 which has been the pricing over the years at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, etc. When I searched and found Home Depot carried it only online and would mail it right to me for 59.00, my search was over. Even if it leaks in 2-3 years, I would still buy the model again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bob101 One of the worst buys.
Easy to fill with the one drawer for coffee and water. But the timer is hard to set. If you want it to go off 1/2 hour you have to hold the button down until the timer goes all the way around 24 hours by the second. Another thing the water started leaking out the reservoir after 1-1/2 months. Contacted manufacture and haven't hear one word form them. Warranty is useless.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KatMac Great coffee maker
This coffee maker delivers what was most important to me, a great cup of HOT coffee. The bonus is that it is an attractive unit on the counter. The front access for water & grounds is a terrific idea. Handy & easy to use. No lifting the top of the unit so the storage cup warming plate on top is a thoughtful design. Carafe doesn't drip when poured either. The only criticism I might voice is setting up the clock or auto timer. A forward/back button would make setting easier. At least by holding the setting button down, the time fast forwards.

We bought and enjoyed the previous model to this one until it started leaking from the reservoir. This updated version arrived and is impressive except for the carafe. The black plastic lip dribbles the coffee. We also don't like how cheap it feels. We saved our carafe from the previous model and it works perfectly with this new machine. We recommend this product, but you'll want to use a different carafe!

Really enjoy having front access for coffee and water. Nice not to have to move it every time we make coffee.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by leo1 All in all it does a good job
Clean look. Easy to understand. My only issue regards its claim to be easily operable from the front only. Not requiring you to pull the device towards you to load up and run. It is possible, but a funnel would make it much easier. The opening is narrow and does not allow filling from the carafe in one attempt as you cannot upend the carafe and keep it in the opening. Otherwise, good coffee maker. Flavorful and aroma setting works well. Satisfied with purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CoolBreeze Aesthetically Pleasing and Proficient for Good Cup of Java...
So far, so good. I give this about 4.5 stars.
NOTE: I've owned it for 3 weeks and have used it about 6 times.
It is hard to locate in stores with only some Best Buy and Home Depot retail stores carrying it.
Here are my observations thus far...
APPEARANCE -- black color with stainless accents look attractive for price paid; fits under our very LOW cabinets (very few options when your cabinets begin at 13.5" from counter); carafe feels a little thin on the glass which makes me nervous as I wash it in my porcelain sink, especially after becoming anxious after drinking caffeine; gold mesh basket seems decent quality and better than Mr. Coffee ones I've seen in Target
EASY OF USE -- the front-loading with pull-out handle is brilliant and nice with our low cabinets (even though you should move coffee maker AWAY from cabinets when actually brewing); water pours easily down the reservoir near the grounds; "aroma setting" does allow for a better "sniffing" experience but does take about 11 minutes to brew 4 cups worth of java so many "impatient pukes" in today's fast-paced society will veto this option entirely
BREWING -- easy-to-use; cleaning the mesh basket can be a pain afterwards but I just wipe it out with a tissue after it dries a bit and then rinse it out in the sink under gentle water spray so it doesn't shorten the life span of the mesh; it does make some weird "gurgling" and loud noises when brewing (esp. during "aroma" brewing) so we'll see how long this machine lasts...our Krup's lasted 10 years but we paid more for that one; the java tastes very good especially with my Peet's coffee and using my Breville Burr Grinder
COST -- for the price the materials are definitely of good quality construction with maybe only the carafe glass being a little too thin
All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and may update this review if my opinion changes dramatically down-the-road.

Purchased this to replace a 12-cup coffee maker from the same manufacturer. The other lasted over 5 years before the heating element began to get weak. This one is the current equivalent and appears to be sturdier than the other.
A good no frills coffee maker that makes good coffee.
