My pants fall down when I wear the tool belt.

The tool belt doesn't tighten up. My pants work their way below my tool belt and start falling down after I
have been working for awhile. I don't really want another strap ( suspenders ) on my shoulders. Got any ideas how to keep my pants tied to my tool belt?

Then I would say that you definitely need the suspension bags. I have the same problem because I am too skinny...I have been using suspenders with my tool bags for about 10 yrs and they have always done their job flawlessly. Also you could try wearing a belt with your work pants if you don't already. Another alternative is that you could try wearing suspenders with your work pants instead of your tool Read More

Also you could try wearing a belt with your work pants if you don't already. Another alternative is that you could try wearing suspenders with your work pants instead of your tool bags. There are many ways you could avoid the situation in question...not to mention the possible embarrassment if for some reason your pants were to fall all the way down. Also if you choose to use suspenders with your bags, be sure that they aren't stretchy...because that will only exacerbate the situation. Read Less

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK belt, was not exactly what I had hoped for. I find the suspenders do no stay adjusted, they slip after a short period of wearing and the belt sags too low. The material seems to be durable and the space adequate, it's just the slipping that is very annoying. I tried on several before purchasing this one but wearing it for an hour with weight in it tells the real story. If I had to do it over again I'd look at something else. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very durable. Easy to assemble. I like the big pockets. Was a little worried about the Velcro but holds up well. The cell phone pocket is pretty useless. June 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not so good Pouch layout is good but pouches fold and corners dig into leg. Velcro back brace layout is not very well thought out. It is adjustable from tiny human to elephant and im stuck carrying the extra. Will need to find a better set somewhere else April 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality at best I unpackaged the belt/rig, and went to assemble the suspenders onto the belt itself. One of the loops that holds a d-ring to attach the suspenders came off, the stitching that holds the velcro on was completely lacking thread, it pulled right off... More stitching problems on the bags themselves. Not even an hour into wearing it, the main loop which the belt goes through on one of the pockets is coming unstitched, it wouldn't have lasted the day had I kept using it, and I barely had a load in it! The belt is HUGE. I'm a 34 waist and when I unpackaged it, it would have fit someone with a 44 waist and then some. I don't know too many carpenters that are that round. Bottom line, spend your money elsewhere... The cheaper Husky brand belts lack a few features, but seemed better built. If you use it day in and out, spend more, it'll pay for itself in the long run. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better then a belt! Keeps most of the weight off of your hips and does a great job of keeping your pants up!! September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product for price no sizes marked on belt had to exchange for friend it was a gift. November 5, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what it used to be 3 years ago when I picked up the "old" style of these bags I paid about $20-$30 more. By far was the best bags I've seen for the price. WHAT HAPPENED?! Dead On must not have been selling enough or something, because they changed everything. Now they are a much lighter duty nailbag. A guy on my crew saw how good my set was holding up even after the 2 1/2 years I had been using them 10 hrs a day, through the rain, snow, heat, sun, everything a framer incounters. His set after 1-2 weeks already had a broken belt and loops, torn pockets, and handles broke off. He had to buy a new set after only a month. It is incredible how much Dead On has changed these bags over the last few years, and I am so disappointed. Maybe if you only frame every once in a while this set is good, but if you do it every day DO NOT waste your hard earned money. May 14, 2013
