I'd recommend this product with reservations: mounting details differ from online literature, and the included instructions were poorly photocopied and difficult to read. Be aware that balusters used for stair guard rails will need to be angle cut, a somewhat messy and exacting process that was not required in the initial mounting design described online. Also, tubes need to be chamfered to removed burrs from inside diameter; otherwise, I found assembly onto mounting balls to be nearly impossible. The chamfering reamer from a tubing cutter designed for copper plumbing works for this. Use the clutch setting on your driver drill; the stainless screws are somewhat soft and will break if over-torqued.
With the above caveats, I'm pleased with the finished appearance of this product. Tubes were nicely and consistently coated, accurately cut to length, and well packaged. Enough connectors and screws were provided to allow for the occasional incompletely molded connector and broken screw. They offer a good looking alternative to conventional 2x2 balusters, in my opinion, even though the installation details need improvement.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JohnnyJ Much cheaper to buy the 5 pack!
I bought 10, 15 packs of these - 150 balusters total, at the "discounted price of $2.80 for each baluster. Later found this product online at Home Depot:
Pegatha 32 in. x 3/4 in. Aluminum Bronze Round Deck Railing Baluster (5-Pack)
Model # 32RBZ
Same thing in a 5 pack at $10.57 for 5, $2.11 each! Called Home Depot and the best they would offer was a $50 gift card - overspent by about $110 with tax. Lesson learned. Very strange that they are cheaper in smaller quantities.
Otherwise they look and work great. Easy to install - just tap with rubber mallet to seat them.

My wife and I really like the product, like 13 cases worth. They are easy to install but not simple. after installing two 4' sections I noticed that any deck vibration caused the balusters to rattle, all 10 at once. I resorted to crimping the ends just slightly, just enough to keep them firmly seated on the shoe.

I ordered these balusters for an existing deck. I read some reviews. Some wrote they had issues with shrinkage which caused some gaps. I decided to use the ball shaped fasteners provided on the bottom rail but not on the top. Instead I drilled 3/4" holes in the top rail about 1 and 1/2" deep. This should allow the baluster to move up and down with expansion and contraction. It was pretty easy to do. One thing that wasn't mentioned was how hard it was to slide the balusters over the ball fasteners. I used my small hand held pipe cutter with a reamer and reamed the inside of the baluster which put a slight taper to the inside which made it a lot easier to slide over the balls. My wife and I really like the look of these balusters.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Duncan The Balusters look really great. Easy to see through.
First experience with this product. The finished project came out looking really good. Used this baluster with Trex rail system instead of the square Trex balusters. I have a high deck with great views of the Mtns and these balusters are easier to see through. I had to buy Trex round baluster spacers which made the job easy. Only problem is the rail system is set up with rubber edges on the inside so the 1-1/4" square balusters won't rattle. Not so for the 3/4" round balusters. I am planning on lifting the bottom spacer so I can move the balusters to one side and apply a bead of caulk then replace the spacer and balusters before the caulk dries. This should stop the rattle when I walk across the deck. Other wise it looks great.

It's a bit of a trick to make a fence with these, but well worth the effort. They are light weight and durable and look great. (I already had some on another fence for 3 years or so, and they have held up beautifully)

Reasonable price for a good looking outdoor deck spindle. Looks really good with our light gray handrails and toe kicks.
