what a nice system
i bought this system (Wireless 520TVL Cameras with 100ft
Night Vision 21305) hopping it would meet my needs. i
needed a wireless system as not able to run wires to out
buildings. i do have plug ins at all locations so power was
not a problem for the cameras. at first i downloaded the
manual to read and thought this may be difficult to get up
and running. when the system arrived i set it up all on the
floor with all cameras and turned it on. it all worked
right out of the box first try. the next step was to access
the system via the Internet and my computer. i tried
following the manual and had no luck as my modem seemed to
not acknowledge it. i did not want to mess up my home
wireless Internet so i call defender for help. they call
back the next day and a wonderful lady walked me through
the process in a short time and now all is working as i
wanted. the system now works great and the support i got
was the top of the line. i thank defender for their support
and a great security system at a very reasonable cost. wmo

system easy to set up and program. I had a problem with one camera dropping out but with help from customer service it was corrected. Coverage good and night vision good. Reception highly dependent on any metal blocking signal or other blocking items. Line of sight needs to be farly clear.

We have had this system in place for the past 7 months. It was easy to install - even for a couple of older folks who were not of this highly tech savvy generation. We set the cameras up outdoors and they work great , even with two of them at a distance from our house. We needed assistance in the set-up to view the video on our iPhone and wifi home computer - and found customer support to be absolutely outstanding in leading us through the process, step-by-step. It was great to be able to view what's going on at home when we were traveling. The only thing we wished we had done differently, in retrospect, would have been to have ordered an 8-channel system. We are very happy with the system quality and performance.

I picked up this system to cover the front of the house, access to the back yard, entry, driveway, etc. It was fairly easy to set up with the cameras and dvr. I eventually figured how to connect it to my tv. Seeing the live view through my I-phone is a great feature. I still have to work out the bugs on connecting it to my home network but, I expect that will take a call to tech support. Overall, the system is doing everything I expected. The picture quality is pretty good. I'm curious to see how it looks through the hdmi input, i.e., if that is better than the s-video connection.

I purchased this camera system a month ago. I had trouble pairing the cameras at first. The instructions for pairing were ambiguous. I went online and there were better instructions. I really like the system. I wish that you could configure the system and playback recorded video remotely. The only remote option is to view the live feed. Other than that, it has worked pretty well. On occasion, the most remote camera will drop out.

I was very happy with the product and everything installed very easily!! I now have the relief of knowing that my property is protected and under 24/7 watch! The cameras were of great quality and the DVR is great other than you have to reboot sometimes in order to get the menu to pop up for viewing again.
