The tension nut to set the angle of the lamp is weak and fragile. You get ONE CHANCE to adjust the angle and tighten. Any more than that and the threads will strip, so be VERY CAREFUL.
I spend a lot of time and money at HD, and found that if you're getting anything with more than two parts, you'll save time and gas by just buying their entire inventory of that item, keep only the one(s) that work, and return all the broken/defective ones for a refund.

Light was easy to install. In particular had a plastic strap that held the light while being wired into the house wires. Did not need "3" hands to install. I have installed several outside motion lights and this was by far the easiest to install and set. The instructions explained each function and how to install.

Installation was easy and well as setup. It operates as stated in add. We added LED floods instead of regular bulbs to reduce cost of electricity and they work very well with this unit.
Mahalo for your interest.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by islandsnow for the price, great light, using flourescent bulbs
I bought this light and an LED version. Both looked great, and this one looked a little cheaper (quality wise) but it installed easily and was a great price. I have fluorescent bulbs for the flood lights so it's not eating that much electricity. Well it's night now and the light is working as I wanted. The LED light has a fancy 2nd plastic bracket and it's not working right now. But i'll write a review for that light. Just wanted to say, the old tried and true light is working fine. Oh and it has a good install kit, that fits on my old 1960's built house, but comes with two sets of screws and everything else you need to install it.

It works fine but for some reason interferes with the satellite signal for the TV when on dusk to dawn, other then that it is fine.

Turned off power, uninstalled old light fixture, unboxed this new light. I had to cut some of the siding to screw the support into the metal electrical box. I used old two wire that was in place. I grounded to the light to the electrical box. I used wire nuts for all connects. Since the box was square I was afraid to secure the light too tight and break wire against the support. The settings are a little confusing so you have to play with them to figure out what settings you want to use. I used 70W lights and they stay dim for 3 hours after dusk. The light will go to full bright if motion is detected from dusk to dawn. Overall I am pleased with this light.
