Rated 3 out of 5 by An "OK" flashlight I bought this flashlight for a specific use - I needed to discreetly turn on the flashlight to check settings on equipment in a concert stage hand situation. But the issue, mentioned in previous posts, of having to cycle through the 3 modes (high, off, low, off, strobe, off) each time is a horrible design. Strobe should only be available if I WANT it, not as the "next choice" in a cycle of 3. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by it can also super charge a watch! I have bought about ten...keep giving them to family members because they like them so much. I always keep three for myself. I use these flash lights on a daily basis for walking the dog early in the am and at night. I use it for jogging at nights with the strove feature that it see me a mile away even in fog. And I have found a new use, charging my eco-drive watch... Normal lighting can take days to fully charge a watch. This little flashlight does it in hours! I LOVE THIS THING! December 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good flashlights Flashlights work fine. Great value. Lost/gave away my first 2. Bought a 2nd set December 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great light projection hard to turn on at times I chose this light because it had the best distance for projecting light. (60 meters}. I find that the on/off switch is very sensitive and sometimes hard to get to work unless you turn the cap that goes on the battery end of the flashlight. It works good when it is on and can see my horses without going all over the pasture which is why I bought it. December 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Used to be great, but new switch modes are poorly thought out I have 3 of these that are a year or two old and I really like them, they are cheap enough to be "disposable", have a high/low setting and are still way brighter/tougher than the $1-2 ones you see. So I picked up 4 more the other day for tool boxes etc. and it seems they've changed how the modes work. It used to be the light always started in high, then went to low and strobe if you tapped the switch. Now the light remembers whatever mode you were last in and automatically selects the next mode the next time you turn it on. If you turn it off in high, next time you turn it on you get low, turn it off in low, next time you turn it on you get strobe, turn it off in strobe, next time you turn it on you get high. All 4 had this issue. To me that's a deal breaker so they went back. You either have to remember to cycle to the mode before the one you want when you turn it off, or you never know what mode you're going to get when you turn it on. November 28, 2014
