Hmmm-without seeing the front of yours I cannot answer. On my device, the reset is a small hole between the display and the On/Off button. It looks like a paper clip would be needed to insert and press the re-set.

Answer:
Yes! It IS there. Just peel away the decal surrounding the square face of the display.
And then simply take a toothpick, insert it in the hole for a second or two, and it will reset the unit to factory fresh 12:00 on the display.

It's not a button. It's a small hole in the front panel. Use a paper clip, needle, or toothpick to push the contact behind the hole.

Have you checked to ensure that the paper label that sits inside of the programming buttons and states "2 Outlets / 2 Tomacorrientes" has been removed from the front of the timer. The label has an opening for the LCD Display but not for the reset button...if that label is not removed, it will look as though there is no reset button.

You may have overlooked the reset button because it does not look like a button; it looks like a tiny hole in the timer case just below the LCD display. To reset, push the end of a wire paperclip or toothpick into the hole and hold it until the display goes blank for a moment, then displays 12:00 AM. Note: On my copy of the printed instruction sheet, the Reset Button is marked "5," not "E." Possibly the instructions you are using are not intended for this timer. If your timer has no reset button, you could try leaving it unplugged for 24 hours or longer until the internal battery fully discharges and the LCD display goes blank. Then plug in the timer for at least 2 hours and reprogram. Read Less

In reality they do but since the timer resets itself every couple of days and has to be programmed again. Which takes about 15 minutes. The question is pointless.

I did not try to find or use the video. If you use the enclosed instructions, they will walk through setting the time, date, and latitude zone. Then you you set the ON/OFF programs. The more you do it, the easier it is. Go slow and don't become frustrated!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Ridiculously complicated to program, difficult to read the display. Works ok once you figure it out but you shouldn't need to spend more than 5 or 10 minutes to program a timer. Poorly thought out. July 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best digital timers I like the look and feel of this timer, though it's a little bulky but built quality is solid and good deal for two outlets. Agreed it's confusing to set up timer and programming at first. Watching you tube postings below from part 1 to 6 helps to get familiar with most of its functions. What really helps me understanding it all after watching 6 short video clip is reading manual included with unit or posted on same product page, product overview, instructions/assembly link in pdf. Hope this will setup this timer little easier and less frustrated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mg2tLR7uAj0 June 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by you get what you pay for Worked like a charm once I figured out how to program it. Than as soon as the warranty ran out it started malfunctioning. I sets itself to Sunday 01/01/12 12:00 pm and stays until I reset the time and reprogram it. Then the programming and time keeping lasts a couple of days and then its back to Sunday 01/01/12 12:00 pm. Glad I only paid about $12 for it. Garbage!! July 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Instructions Insanely complicated to program. It offers an instructional video on how to program by going to homedepot.com and entering the model number. I did that, but there is no instructional video. July 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Instructional Video The instructional book referred to the video. You may want to delete that since there is no video so the customers time will not be wasted looking for it. July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Timer for the Price I found the timer easy to program and set up. I use three of the devices to control lights and auto doors on my chicken coops. I modified the sunup/sunset times to provide extra minutes. The timers self-adjust all throughout the year and auto adjust for DST - a true set and forget it. As for some people reporting random times, there is a button on the face of the unit which is VERY easy to bump. If you do, the small letters "RND" will appear in the upper corner of the window. Yes, "RND" stands for "RANDOM" and you will get random time settings. Personally, this feature is meaningless to me, but someone may find it useful. May 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrble waste of time and money Took hours to program to find out it never works. This product is a disgrace, July 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to Program Difficult to program the on/off times. The store was out of the mechanical version, so I thought I would try this one. I wouldn't have bought it if I had read the other reviews on-line. July 2, 2016
