Answer:
Batteries not replaceable real easily. If you do, you could pull them out and cut the wires, and then hardwire some batteries in. It has a 2 year warranty, so I'd just send it back

I purchased this unit about 6 months ago and it has stopped working. There is a small blinking red light on the front of the unit. Can this be repaired or have I wasted $80?

Read the manual, if the red light is blinking, it needs to charge. Says to turn off for 4 days to fully charge.

How do I get the 180 motion activated solar led flood light battery to maintain a charge ?? I have repeatedly charged the unit over a 4 day period as per the directions and get the same results: in test mode, the lights will flash twice, turn off and the red led blinks indicating minimal battery charge. How can I verify that the solar panel is actually charging the batteries? I am very disappointed in the performance of this product and would not recommend it to anyone. In fact, one of my neighbors asked about this light and I did not recommend the product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bright lights I bought this light to stand up some illumination in short order. Eventually I'll deploy a hard wired set, when there's time. This unit puts out an amazing amount of light. The install, piece of cake.I'll have to monkey with the solar panel to opt the gain, That's on me though, I knew the shade was going to be an issue. Good unit. I helped a guy hang two of these in a carport 500 ft from the beach. It will interesting to see if the salt causes thrm to go tango uniform. June 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No problems at all ! I installed two of these on a utility shed. I mounted the solar panels on the roof. I have one light on the outside and one on the inside. Its been up sense Sept 2015. The only thing I wish was better is the range of the motion sensor. Other than that it is bright and has turned on every time. I don't understand how there are so many negative reviews for this light. If there is a product that's a lemon, I usually end up with it. Maybe some people installed it in partial shade? If your having trouble with the light not turning on it might be mounted to high. I made this mistake and had to mount the light lower. Over all I am happy with this solar product and believe me I have purchased some really bad solar products. April 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light This product is outstanding and puts out a lot of light May 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible product and no customer service My electrician installed this light outside. Within two months, it stopped working. My electrician said the internal battery probably went. There are no replaceable batteries unless you want to splice a new battery with the existing wire harness. I contacted customer service online and I never heard from them. Total piece of junk and a waste of money! March 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk Junk only lasted 6 months. Now just flashing red light. Says to charge 4 days, will not take a charge. No replacement battery available? I have another one purchased at same time but not installed. Will be returning February 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a very good ligh Light is semi-bright, but not very sensitive at ALL. May be how I have it installed...but not worth the cost overall. February 10, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Batteries don't last. Worked good for first few weeks. Installed easily and adjusted easily. Worked awesome at first. But after a few weeks the batteries were junk and would not hold a charge. So when you walk by it at night, it flashes at you and that's it. Checked the manual, and it says to turn off for four days to recharge batteries. I'm in So Cal with direct southern exposure and it is in the full sun at least 8 hours a day. Batteries just won't hold a charge. Junk after 3 months. January 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by some work, some dont... I have 4 on my house. 2 of them work correctly. The other two just stop working. They charge from the sun, 15 minutes later, they stop working... January 16, 2016
