Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DEstefan Light is good, sensor not so much
The lights are very bright, BUT as others have written before, the light strobes. I found out that if you cover the sensor that detects day/night the strobing will stop. If you mount the lights on the ceiling the ceiling will reflect enough light so that the sensor will detect "day" and switches the light off, then it's dark and it detects "night" and switches the light back on, and so on and so forth. The only way to get around it is to cover the sensor, which will make the lights come on day and night.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by PJCC Lightweight, quick to install and attractive security light, for short term only.
Attractive, lightweight and installed quickly in less than 15 minutes. It replaced a fifteen year old heavy metal and glass security light. The plastic has a short life in the tropical heat and rains.
This security light is aluminum and plastic. In Florida my outside lights that are not glass and metal don't last longer than two years. A combination of the hot sun and rains bakes the plastic, it then chips or stops working
The indicators on the bottom of the light for length of time and distance are adjustable. The distance indicator is white on a white light, hard to read.
The adjustments when set for maximum distance didn't work as I expected. I posted 3 photos, one close up of the light. One photo was taken at the distance the light comes on at night when walking into the center of the light - ten to thirteen feet. Lastly, surprise, a photo from the angle and distance the sensors respond to, or light up at night, from inside the patio. This is an extreme angle about twenty feet away from the motion sensor. I tested this several times and the motion detector was more sensitive from the edges than the center. It detected motion behind the lattice.
If you want a short term solution for security outside this is adequate.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYgurl Love these so much we got another set for the front corner of the house!
We were skeptical of these at first. We had an older set on our house and they just didn't seem to want to work ALL the time - they are a different brand, and different wattage - but we decided to try one set of these first.
With an install time of about 20 minuets, they were up and working with the light switch. We had to wait until nightfall for us to test them out for the motion detection and length of light ray thrown off by the light itself into the areas that we wanted light.
When we did see how BEAUTIFUL they lit up our back corner of the house we were so pleased that we got online the very next morning and ordered another set for the front corner of the house.
The timers can be set to turn off at a certain amount of time - we have ours set for 9 minuets. And they are BRIGHT, BRIGHT, BRIGHT!!! They are sensitive enough that a larger animal can set them off as well, so it would not take a huge person to make sure they go off. Because they do go off, fairly quick, animals are not actually bothersome - we are more concerned that they would not work when needed. I'd rather know that an animal can set them off than not work at all.
For the money - these lights are a VERY good value!
They are not HUGE - they fit into the eve of the house perfectly - we got them in white to match the trim, but they also come in Black.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToolTimeTony Two stage motion activated LED, nightlight and full light when needed
This is an LED two head flood light, that provides plenty of bright light. The light is motion activated and can operate two ways, one, as a standard motion activated light, and two, as a two stage "night light" than comes on at dusk with a lower output light, around 400 lumens, and when motion is detected, goes to 2400 lumens for the duration of the activation stage, and then return to night light operation till dawn. If you have an area you want to keep lowly illuminated all night, this is a great feature. I am using this for the back of our house, as it provide security lighting all night at a lower level that doesn’t impact the bedrooms (although its still fairly bright), and if needed, provides a large good area that is well illuminated. As it’s an LED, it uses very little power, about 35 watts in full light mode, and I assume much less in night light mode. Mode is easily switchable on the unit. Controls include motion sensitivity adjustment and lights on duration time when motion is detected. Motion sensor worked well, good range and sensitivity. Ideal for locations where you can’t easily change bulbs as the LED are designed to last a very long time. Standard installation, can mount either horizontal or vertical to a standard outdoor round fixture box. Only tricky part is the screw used to hold the light to the mount is not much longer than it needs to be, so you have to carefully align everything and "find" the hole for the screw, which while on a ladder is always fun. Of course, these units are all pretty much the same in that regard. Overall, very impressed by the design of the product, it looks great, all white, and it provides plenty of light.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roger Economical bright solution for flood lights
Great upgrade for my older flood lights. It's sleeker. lighter, modern and very easy to install. I was able to use the same box as my previous flood lights to install these. It allows you to adjust sensitivity of the sensor, how long the lights will lit up and angle of the sensor. It goes a little crazy if the sensor is pointing to a glass or any shiny object. sensors are sensitive enough to detect my beagle and turn on. Light is bright enough to light up my entire backyard. It did not detect my presence when I was about 15 feet away but to be fair I did not adjust the sensitivity to see if that changes. I love the Bright white light it produces.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VivaDiy Bright, dual-brightness levels, LED
This is an incredible motion flood LED light. Best of all, it has a dual-brightness feature using little juice to light a driveway or house number, then blasts bright light when motion is detected. After an adjustable period of 1-18 minutes, it returns to a warm color, low light state. Perfect for coastal areas with a non-metal case. This bright (have I said that before) LED motion floodlight has the best combination of features I could find, and well priced at $50. For you geeks, low light provides 400 lumens, motion bright is 2400 lumens. Also has setting that allows no light unless motion is detected. Of course, auto-off at daylight. I am a happy customer, this product is well done.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HoytSchermerhorn Been through 2 of these things, both were broken to start
The first one I ordered would not stay on for more than 5 seconds, no matter what mode (Test/Auto) it was in, or what duration (1-18min) it was set at. It seemed like it was stuck in Test mode all the time. Home Depot was nice enough to refund my money and let me order a replacement.
Received the replacement. On this one, Test mode doesn't work, so I can't easily set the range because I have to wait at least a full minute for it to shut off. Like it's stuck in Auto mode all the time, the opposite of the other one. But even that doesn't matter, because the range on this one is garbage. I need to be right in front of it to get it to turn on, and turning the sensitivity knob doesn't do anything.
To add insult to injury, Home Depot dropped the price by 30% a month after I bought it. I'm tired of installing these things on my house, but I guess I'm making another return.

ceiling mounting is terrible. You cannot adjust the motion detector around the light heads. Light died in seven months. HD customer service told me to return to store for credit.
