Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gman Not Durable, poor design. Fragile and brittle.
Light works great. Just don't let it fall off your head or drop out of your hand. I accidentally dropped my headlamp from a height of about 3 ft and the tabs that hold the head strap on broke off. Brittle piece of junk with poorly designed method for securing the straps. I would not recommend anyone buy this if they expect it to be rugged.
*****Please see attached .jpeg for photo of broken tabs.*****

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Techhandy Great buy
I work as a handyman and need light often especially hands free. I have bought a few other headlights in the past but they didn't work as well as this one, either they weren't bright enough or the batteries didn't last long enough. I have had this one for a month and have used it for plumbing under the sink to crawling in the attic and it has performed great I have used it for hrs at a time and I'm still on the same batteries. With the others I would have had to change the batteries at least twice already in the amount of time I have used this one. It is comfortable to wear also. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

Worked very well. Lit up the attic within it's range. I think it goes to about 45deg on the sides.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DubsJ Do not buy this!
I got this brand because it was a few dollars cheaper than the Energizer lamp I was considering. As I was removing the product from the package, the lens fell off! Despite multiple tries, I was unable to keep the lens in place. I also had a difficult time adjusting the direction of the light, especially with the lens continually falling off. I will be returning this product to the store from which i bought it. I have already gone online, ordered and received a new one, in the brand I was previously using (Energizer). That one lasted for years (~10 yrs) but finally started to fall apart. NEVER AGAIN will I forgo good quality to save a few bucks!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RepoDan Best Headlamp EVER !!
I'm a Flashlight Junkie !!. I have over 100(seriously), And I know junk from quality, And this Headlamp beats them ALL !!. I bought another Flashlight and this Headlamp was a BONUS item. Well, I tossed the other Flashlight into the drawer. I've used this Headlamp EVERY NIGHT for the last 2 YEARS and its FINALLY starting to give issues. And I WILL be heading to Home Depot to buy 5 MORE !!. Trust me, You won't find a better Headlamp and for the price you won't go wrong !!. Buy all you can before they stop making them!!!. The only issue I've had is the Head Band, After wearing it EVERY NIGHT for a YEAR, It started loosing its Strength and was loose on my head, But I still use it !!. Yesterday it didn't come on very bright, Now I have to tap it to get it to light up bright. 100% HAPPY AND WILL BUY MANY MORE !!!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ishidan Major design flaw. Night vision-not for you!
I have a major problem with the way that this unit turns on. As mentioned, it has seven LEDs, arranged as follows: One 1 watt high intensity white LED for the triple digit lumen output, then pairs of green, white, and red LEDs, allegedly with the first and last being for night vision and the middle being your low power option for white light. The slider on the top selects which of the low power LEDs you are using, and there's one master power button on the side. Here is the problem: the main power button sequence ALWAYS goes "Main light--side lights--off". This is a problem if you were hoping to maintain night vision using the red or white LEDs, because to get there, you end off flashing the brilliant white light from the center LED. I have not yet tested its durability or battery life.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by techguy Absolute Best Bang for your Buck
I've had one for years, and just recently purchased another as a gift to my father. The AAA batteries it uses I think are far superior to the rechargeable built in styles that exist. The LED's are quality and Bright with simple and intuitive off/on switch and button. Is this an "outdoor adventuring Flashlight replacement"?.... no. But working in a dark environment, basement construction work, Theatrical Backstage work, behind your desk, on a boiler, this is an excellent product.
The top strap is also Key to keeping this positioned on your Head, and not having it slip around your neck :-)
