Within three days, the switch in the endcap broke. Some dis assembly revealed that the switch is exactly the same as the one found in those "free" flashlights found at another tool store. The overall build of this flashlight is great. The housing is beefy and well manufactured. The LED used is a CREE. There are o-rings to help waterproof. Why in heavens name did the design engineer specify the cheapest possible switch. For a few cents more they should have designed it with a much better switch. At the price point where they are competing against Mag-Lite, they should have similar quality.
Other than the switch, the flashlight is well made. But three days of use and then broken...

This flashlight is so bright you will think there is an airplane landing in your living room. Use it to look under the couch and you will find things you thought you would never see again. I found a button from a cardigan I lost in 1982 when my brother and I had a wrestling match in my living room.

I have a lot of different type of flashlights, but this one is my favorite. It is heavy and very bright. I light the rubber rings that goes around the front and back of the flashlight. This provides a little cushion in case you drop the light. I even went back and bought a second one to keep in my vehicle.

I purchased this light to replace my mag light that finally died. It is much lighter and the beam seams brighter. It is weaterproof and much easier to handle. The only draw back is that the beam is not adjustable like a Mag light.

my mind tells me don't believe everything you hear and read . you get what you pay for and if its a junk price then its more than likely junk to a real person who uses it for real!

This is definitely a heavy duty flashlight. It can easily be yielded as a self defense weapon (it is called a tactical flashlight). It is not a small concealable flashlight, it is heavy and roughly 12" long. Light output is pretty good, it is bright and focus-able.
My only real complaint is the 3 mode lighting, its off-100%-off-50%-strobe. Every time you turn it on, it comes on in a different light mode...that is annoying. If you half press the on/off button it will cycle through the modes, but its still hassle.
I have 15 or so flashlights and this on seems to sit in the middle of visible brightness, but don't get me wrong this thing is blindingly bright!

Bought this thing about a week ago for my emergency kit. Tested it inside the house and it seemed OK. Last night we lost power and I turned this flashlight on and boom! Tons of light. Extremely bright. My neighbor was really impressed. He had a light with the same 600 lumens and it was no where near the brightness of this light. I lke the strobe feature for getting attention and feels really rugged. Will go back this week and get another.
Didn't give it 5 stars for Quality because only time will tell, but so far, so good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CMMToolMan Quality flash light with fairly good beam
This flashlight is well-crafted and very sturdy. It includes removable rubber ends for added shock protection when dropped. The handle is a good diameter and fits well in the hand. The beam adjustment is smooth, but fairly hard to turn.
The beam is very bright, but not as clean as I would like. Instead of a uniform light, it casts the "eye" that many flashlights have in the center of their beams. Another high quality flashlight I have casts a bright beam without this "eye" in the center, making the light more effective. This flashlight does cast a bright beam in any event.
