While quality of the viewers is barely average, they are adequate for most installations.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OldNurse Home Safety Enhancement with installation caveat
As a single senior, I recently purchased a home without a front door peephole & a limited window view of my entry area. This viewer provides a wide view of my front entry, driveway & yard, greatly enhancing my sense of security in my home. Installation was very straight forward but, requires drilling a 5/8" hole. Neither I nor any family members had this size bit so, installation of this $10 viewer required the purchase of an $18 drill bit. It was well worth it to me; this is the widest/best viewer I've ever had. Just have to find some projects that call for a 5/8" drill bit!

We have a door with one but I bought this one to put in the door for short people. It is bad optics. It is blurry and you cannot see the face or read signs.

Although it looked nice in the package, when I tried to unscrew to install the lens fell to the ground in several pieces. It didn't break, just several different lenses. No directions and after many attempts, couldn't get lenses in correct order. Had to install it, because I had a hole in the door. If you do purchase this item, just be careful when unscrewing.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Okflip Lot of work to peep through the door!
It is as good as the other similar products except the need for a odd sized hole that is required to install this into the door. I have hundreds of tools and drill bits but the need for this diameter and the needed effort to do that size home and risk if having to use a whole sew (drill) and if it wondered off the hole would totally mess up the appearance of the 350 dollar door I install this into. I will not ever buy this style again and just get the cheaper one and it only requires a 1/2 inch hole bored into through the door.

The product was easy to install and gives me a 180 degree field of view.
