Will Home Depot rekey these to work with one key?

I noticed in some other Q&As that Home Depot will re-key locks that are purchased in-store. If I buy two sets of these (4 knobs/4 deadbolts) and ship them to a store, will I be able to have Home Depot re-key them all to work with the same key when I pick them up? I couldn't find anything about fees to provide the re-key service, either, so any information about that would be helpful.

Answer:
There are usually three packs per case that are already keyed alike. There is a code number printed on the cardboard insert of each package, and if you match the codes between two packs they'll all be keyed alike. I did this for my mom's house and it worked perfectly. You'll also get 8 keys between the two packs.

Answer:
You should ask a knowledgeable store associate because they should be able to refit the keys from other Defiant sets. When I bought mine, a store associate said if I wanted to add another set and he could match the keys.

If you already have locks at home and you are purchasing a new one and want it to match the original, bring in your existing key and they will rekey your new lock to match your old one when you buy the new lock.
If you are purchasing three new door locks, you can also have them keyed together at the store when you buy them.

Answer:
You can buy two 2-pack combos (lock and single cylinder deadbolt) with the same code number printed on them, which would give you four combo locksets and 8 matching keys. You could also buy three single-pack combos with the same code. Either would be cheaper and take less time than having a lock rekeyed. The code is printed on the cardboard insert and is visible from the front of the package.

Many locks come with a key code on outside of pkg so you can match or make sure you don't match another lock set. Other option would be to bring 3 pkgs to a lock smith to be keyed alike. Very affordable if locksmith doesn't have to make a house call. I am a landlord and made a great friend in a local locksmith. Sure helpful when Im in need of emergency assistance.

Answer:
Yes... one key fits all four locks and the manufacturer supplies you with more than one key. If you need more than two sets to match, just look for the number printed on each of these sets. If the numbers match, it means those packages are keyed the same. Ask a Home Depot associate to help you find these numbers on the packages.
