Where is the on and off switch? Is it the small white object under the outlets? It has no identifying info.

Answer:
There is no on/off switch. You just plug it in and it is on. The white LED will light. The white button is a circuit breaker that you push if it is overloaded/shorted.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 78 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase for my needs This was just what I needed and works great I would buy it again if needed June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Product failed in the first month The timer was working until about the 3 week mark. Now, the dial on top stops spinning and always while turning off the outlets. This has made keeping my pool clean impossible. It shut down without me noticing for a week over the winter when I would only check it on the weekend, and of course my pool is now green and I'm struggling to get it back on track before the weather warms up here in a week. I simply had to adjust the dial to leave the outlet on all the time so my pool filter pump can run continuously until I find a replacement. Don't waste your money. Like many other outdoor outlet timers, this one is a dud. March 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by had trouble operating Looked great but have trouble getting settings to work correctly. Seems like the internal timer doesn't work correctly as it doesn't keep time very well March 29, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Works OK for a year I bought this time to control Xmas lights last year (2014 Xmas). I liked that the plugs were protected from the weather somewhat and that the dial was easy to read. It worked well that year This year it appears that the timer is lagging. After 2 nights of working it was 3 hours behind. Now I was going to use it for starting plants indoors and I need it to work so I get 14-15 hours of light DURING THE DAYTIME and after one night it is lagging by 3 hours. Unacceptable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Defiant outdoor timer Easy to use, good quality, with reasonable weather proofing. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent outdoor timer for Xmas lights Bought this product after my older outdoor lighting timer kept tripping circuit breaker. This has easy setup and plenty of outlets. It also has handy plastic clear flip up cover to protect the timer from elements. Very pleased with my purchase. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIY'er This unit worked well in inclement weather and now hangs in my garage charging my cordless dewalt battery for 2 hours a day. I will llikely purchase another as I can use this unit all year long for multiple yard lighting and other tasks that require limited but regular electrical power. January 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Outdoor Timer This outdoor timer is the best one out there. It is easy to set up and has outlets for 6 plugs, which comes in very handy for X-mas lights. You have a lot of flexibility regarding setting up the timer due to the pins that are in 10 - 15 minute increments. I have tried several other timers, and without a doubt this is the best, easiest to use and the most outlets, especially for the money. December 29, 2015
