Product Overview

This Definity PAR30 LED flood lamp concentrates bright white (3000K) light in a narrow pattern, spreading just 25° from center to highlight a central area. Using only 15-Watt of power, it produces 725 Lumens of brightness comparable to that of a 90-Watt incandescent PAR30 bulb, conserving energy to the tune of $167.75 in savings over its 50,000-hour existence. It lights up instantly and is fully dimmable, retaining its pleasant color temperature even as brightness is throttled down.

  • Brightness: 725 Lumens
  • Estimated yearly energy cost: $0.72 (based on 3 hours/day, 11¢/kWh; cost depends on rates and use)
  • Life: 22.8 years (based on 3 hours/day)
  • Light appearance: 3000K bright white (WW)
  • Energy used: 15-Watt (equivalent to a 90 watt standard incandescent light bulb)
  • Lumens per watt: 47
  • Indoor/outdoor ideal for use in track, recess and security lighting
  • Dimmable for light customization
  • Contains no mercury, does not pose a health hazard
  • LED technology is a prudent choice for hard-to-reach fixtures, as its long life expectancy keeps replacement chores to a minimum

Answer:
My previous post incorrectlly stated that the Infinity "flood" PAR 30 LED has a 120 degree beam angle. A more accurate statement would be: All LED's with no lense or diffuser have a 120 degree beam angle. LSGC Definity PAR 30 "flood" LED's have a 40 degree beam, the narrow flood (NFL) is 25 degrees and the spot has a beam angle of 15 degrees per LSGC specifications.

Answer:
Definity LED Par lights have specific beam angles. Flood is a 120 degree beam angle, narrow flood (NFL) is 25 degrees and spot has a 15 degree beam angle. General rule for LED is: beam angle is 120 degrees with out some kind of diffuser. Spots, narrow flood, BR type LED's and omni-directional all have diffusers to manipulate the beam angle.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Too dim These bulbs are Not 90 watt equivalents. Also they came loose not in any packaging. Returned immediately June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Definity: High quality, commercial grade products Any manufaturer can sell a cheap LED but the LSGC Definity line of products is designed for performance first that happens to be low cost also. I am a retired and past LSGC distributor and have practical experience with these products and other manufacturers. September 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light not as warm as halogen, but they are still good. Compared to the halogen spot lights they replaced, the light is cooler and less appealing. That said, it is still reasonably good light and they seem to be lasting a lot longer than the halogen spots. I leave these lights on 24/7 so the energy savings is significant, Compared to other LED bulbs with the same form factor, these were inexpensive and the build quality appears to be excellent.
