I am looking for a chair mat. Prefer non plastic but, those get hefty in price. I have found that all the plastic ones crack over time. I have a low pile wool carpet about half an inch deep (two notches over half inch).
The chair mat I have now is right size but crack badly and in need of a new one.
Is this chair mat prone to cracking? What is the warranty?

The mat was easy to unroll and lay flat after a twenty-four hour "flattening period." The mat does "creep" a little, but in my experience virtually all mats creep on carpet. I would buy this product again if I needed another mat.

The real review should take place a year from now when I have been using the supermat on may carpet for a year, but as far as getting what was shown, and good service so far - it has been excellent.
You just have to be patient when unrolling it. I did it over a week's time and it lays perfectly flat now. So follow the enclosed instructions and there should not be a problem.

I would recommend this for quality and appearance only. The web site describe this to be .288 inches thick but this is not so. It is but .128 inches thick. Also, you need two people to unfurl to make flat.
