My plant is really growing and it has lots of shoots/babies the pot I have it in is getting over crowed. The mother plant leans to the side and the bottom leaves are bending.

Answer:
Hello!
Repot the 4" Aloe Vera into a 6" pot. Either a plastic or Terra Cotta pot with drain holes will work. Use a good quality potting soil formulated for house plants. Afterwards maintain moderate soil moisture and avoid overly wet or soggy conditions.

Answer:
If the plant is heavy and leans, you will want to get a pot that weighs more than the plant, for example a stone or ceramic pot, so that the plant doesn't lean the pot over. Also, get a larger pot that the roots will have space to grow into without crowding quickly.

Answer:
You water aloe deeply but then allow the soil to dry at least 1 to 2 inches deep between waterings, in order to discourage rot; water even less in winter.

Answer:
They are mailed in a box. Sometimes the carrier will turn it upside down, but it's relatively secure in the package so you'd probably just have to put some dirt back in the pot. Not a big deal.

Answer:
Hello,
It is best to keep the aloe indoors near a sunny window. Cold weather could cause the Aloe to get cold shock or even root rot. Though they can survive, they may not thrive in the colder temperatures.
Thank you,
Delray Plant Co.

Aloe Vera in 4 in. Pot is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Aloe Vera Plant The plant was well packed, only one leaf broken. There were only four leaves on the whole plant and it was extremely small. Not anything comparable to the picture - disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I got a dying plant Within the first week of my plants arrival (it was shipped to me) one of the leaves got mushy at the root and fell off, and the other two long leaves started drooping. Since then I have lost another leaf, and one of the long original leaves is showing signs of getting mushy too. I've been watering it a little bit twice a week for the last 4 weeks, and it looks like I'm gonna lose another leaf. This is my first aloe plant but it came to me already rotting

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I bought 2 aloe vera plants. One came in just fine. The other came damaged, but it was not Home Depot's fault. It was damaged while shipping. Home Depot replaced my plant, no questions asked. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars for everything is because of the 4" pot that it comes in. It either needs to come in a bigger size pot with more dirt, or it needs to be a heavier duty 4" pot. Because the plant is so tall, the small pot is not large or heavy enough to keep the plant standing on it's own. It fell over a couple times on me, so I had to prop it against something until I switched it to a bigger pot. Otherwise, it's a great product!
