Can Cateracterum Palm be played outside in full sun?

Asked by: Tmay
Hello, The Cataractarum will grow just fine in a shady corner outdoors, however they will need some filtered light for optimal growth and appearance. Please avoid exposure to frost or freezing temperatures. Also be sure to maintain moderate ongoing soil moisture levels. Thank you for your inquiry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic on a patio! We buy 4-6 of these plants every summer and place them on our patio. Sometimes we add a few Boston fern. It becomes a tropical garden! We transplant them into larger pots, placing a layer of stone on the bottom of the pot and on top of the soil to make sure they can stand up to a wind gust. They thrive in the summer heat and are super easy to care for. Come fall, when the temps drop, we donate the plants to the community center! You could just bring them in, but they will be quite large!
