I seem to recall that it did but since it's been a good month since purchase and installation won't swear to that. If it did then the washer was likely already seated inside the fitting which screws onto the supply pipe coming out of the shower stall wall. But please consider doing what I also recommended which was to wrap one-two windings around the threads of the supply pipe before threading this unit Read More

It's been something like a month since I bought and instaled this device and sometimes my memory can be kinda' fuzzy on such items. But if it did then the washer was already seated in the screw-on fitting for the device. Though I still recommend that plumber's teflon tape(which Home Depot and and most other building supply venues usually have in abundance)be applied, with about 1-2 wrappings around the circumference of the supply pipe, to the pipe threads before attempting to thread this shower head onto the water supply pipe coming out of the wall of your shower stall. Answer:
I'd recommend exchanging it. Chrome is a coating process and can be subject to moisture intrusion. If the chrome is compromised and it can be right from the player there is no cure. Just replace it. I don't Home Depot very accommodating if there is any problem. It all depends on how long it's been in use.

hmmm. I've bought three, and I am 100% sold on them. I, too, just hand tightened....no flaking. Can't say the same for the more expensive American Standard one. What type of cleaner did you use?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 75153SN does not necessarily need a compensating or pressure balanced valve. However, you should check with your local municipality to see if it is code to have one in your house.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shower for my bathroom I needed to change the shower on the first bathroom and I used this one. I purchased it cheap to see how it works. Will let you know. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Low flow but still has a strong stream Used on the vacation cottage due to the septic system to reduce water flow. Has a stronger flow than other low water use heads. Pleased with purchase. October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Easy to install, water-saving, and yet provides a good shower spray. Seems well-made and solid. Great, basic item if you don't want to spend much and be green! September 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for low to moderate water pressure Needed a water saving head to conserve our limited water supply. Part of the year we rely on a RV style 3 GPM on demand pump with a 275 gallon IBC reserve tank when our well fails. This head works equally well regardless if we are on the main well or the aux system. Nice, full coverage spray. September 13, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It will do. Husband loves it for the water-saving. Wife hates it because water never feels hot enough (when it did w/ old shower head) and it takes forever to get shampoo out of hair! August 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hate it It does not give you the option to change the pressure August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Showerhead Very easy to install. What can I say ? It is the middle of the line shower head and it works! August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Finally Pressure is low at my house, and I've tried several different heads. I love this one. I'm getting another one for the guest bath. It may save water, but now I'm taking longer showers! July 27, 2016
