Answer:
Yes, this is actually the reason I originally purchased it since it moves up and down. I am short, but my boyfriend is tall and it worked for both of us.

Answer:
I think so, there are two adjustable points that allow the head to be moved up, down and even in or out to some degree.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 75174 does have levers on the shower arms that can be loosened and then lowered for shorter users.
Thanks.

10" does not bring the head far enough out from the wall. Is there 1) a longer pipe to the head available? or 2) is there an extender?

Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 75174 includes the showerarm that extends out about 11" and we do not offer an extension to that arm. We do offer longer showerarms that can be purchased separately. For instance, Delta Faucet model # UA902-PK is adjustable up and down 18" and model U6930 will extend from 13"-22" for overhead showering. We also offer a 16" long showerarm with Read More

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good product I'm pleased with this item. It works well, and is convenient. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This is a poorly designed shower head; it will break. Do not buy it. From the get go there was a light leak from where the shower head connected to the shower arm. If I tightened it more the washer would get pushed out of place and water would go everywhere. No big deal I thought... I could live with a small leak. Over time (a couple months) the arm started to lose tension and would fall down. I would tighten it daily but it still became loose and fell down. Then the head itself started to leak. Water would go everywhere; I had to wrap the shower head arm to control the leak. Eventually the whole shower head fell off during a shower. When I took it apart I saw that a small plastic part inside had cracked. It was beyond repair. I don't think it could handle the force exerted on it by the weight of the arm. July 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ok Nice rain shower. Not a lot of pressure. But overall very pleased. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't even bother Raincan? Phfffft. Minimal drizzle, more like. All plastic, cannot be disassembled to remove the flow restrictor. After trying this piece of junk and observing the pathetic drip which issued from it, I took it right back off, cleaned and repaired my old one. I recommend you buy a real shower-head, made of metal and screwed together. As for this one, it's going back to the store today. May 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Low quality and poor finishing It's a low quality product and when installing you can see the pipe coming out of the wall since there is no cover that will fit to cover it May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Purchase This showerhead gives an extreme low level of water pressure. I had a Waterpic showerhead that I thought was weak, but this Delta showerhead was much weaker- so I threw it into the trash and reinstalled the developer Waterpic. Hope no one else makes the mistake I made with this purchase. March 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap This assembly is plastic. That should give you an idea of the quality. Easy to install but the cheap plastic threads supporting the head (used to keep at any given height/angle) do not stay tight causing the assembly to droop and constantly need to be re-positioned. The water pressure is also very weak, which is somewhat expected from a rain shower head (larger surface area/opening with constant flow = less pressure). I removed it after a couple days of not being able to stand it anymore. February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Like it, but poorly made I had this shower head for 21 months. At first it worked really well, but after the first few months the shower head would start to fall down... It was like the connector (which you can tighten) would get loose, so every time I showered, I had to tighten it. The last 3 months that I have owned it, I have been forced to tighten it several times throughout my shower. Last night it finally broke, looks like it corroded, so it is time for a new one. Overall I am satisfied with how much I paid and how long it lasted, but I will be buying a new showerhead this time. Many of my guests have complained that the pressure is too low for them, but I happen to like it. I admit that the pressure is low; anymore pressure though and I think it wouldn't have worked as long as it did. It is cheaply made, you can feel the plastic. March 1, 2016
