We were looking at adjustable shower arm to replace the clumsy hand held shower we used. This was the perfect fit for us. It can be easily adjusted up for the 6' 6" man, or lowered down so the grandkids can enjoy the full shower. After removing the old shower head with a big vise grip I installed the new one with NO TOOLS and a bit of teflon tape. I was so happy with it that I purchased the exact same one with the rain style shower head for the second bathroom-NICE!

I have had one of these since 2002. Moved with it to a new place in 2009. It started leaking shortly after that. The washers are impossible to find. When I needed to get an extender arm for the other shower in my home, I bought a different brand arm that didn't work at all because I have a water filter with a diameter of about 4 inches between the pipe coming out of the wall and the extender arm and a big ole shower head about 5 inches diameter on the other end. The other brand arm have wing nuts that were toooo big so when I went to tighten the arm on either end at the angle I need it to clear my head, the wing nut hit the filter (not enough clearance) and the head on the other end. I mention this because you might also have wide diameter filter or shower head. You can tighten down the wing nuts with this Delta shower arm because the wing nuts are small enough to clear the wide filter and shower head. So I gave it some thought - the other one lasted over ten years with several untightenings/tightenings from moving and changing the water filter every six months. I decided that was pretty good for a shower arm under $20. So instead of agonizing over not being able to find the washers to stop the drip drip drip leaking, I bought another one of these and look forward to using for the next ten years.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by RCW808 Great for a few months, AWFUL after that
First negative is that this product will reduce your water pressure by about half. Except for that, it INITIALLY worked to solve our need. Iâm 6â4â, my GF is 5â5â. Swivels down for her, up for me. But the wafer-thin rubber washers wear out quickly and within months, water was shooting out from all 4 areas where these washers exist. But don't assume you'll find replacement washers locally. Stores sell rubber washers in many sizes, but theyâre all of a particular thickness and wonât fit in this product. Plumbers will special order this thin type of rubber washer for you, but theyâll just wear out again within a few months. A better recommendation would be to just not purchase this product in the first place, and save yourself the money, time, and aggravation that we had to endure before we ended up just throwing it in the trash and getting a different type of plumbing extension.

Does exactly what it says. Gets the shower head up higher and allows you to adjust the angle of the spray to a convenient point.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Oddible Simple solution to add height to your shower
I've bought two of these at different times in my life for a couple different places I've lived. They work perfectly. They even come with an extra rubber piece that you can use depending on the type of shower you have (note to the other guy who posted the review, just discard that part if you don't need it, I've never used it). Always held together perfectly for me. In fact, one has traveled with me to 3 different houses now. You don't even need a wrench to screw it on, you can use the arm itself to get leverage. I recommend buying a roll of gap tape to seal the threads when you install (like any plumbing install).
