Customer Reviews

3-Way Shower Arm Diverter in Stainless is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Valve will not hold shower and hand held position simultaneously. Pops up and goes to hand held position. Replaced with new valve, and same problem. Could this be due to high water pressure?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from did not last. I have had this product in my new home for less than two years when it broke. I was told by the builder that this valve was not covered by a warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from just replaced this and have the same problem after reading the other reviews and seeing i am not the only one who has a problem with this divertor i wonder why delta is still selling it. it has been more than a waste of my money its been a waste of my time first installing a product known to be defective then disasembling a 3 shower head system i designed counting on this product to work as stated returning defective divertor reinstalling replacement and it still dont work

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to use and low durability We had our house built, finished in January of 2013. We had this splitter installed in the master bath so we could use a hand shower or main shower at will. The first problem was instantly evident - you have to be extremely tall to be able to pull up on the button effectively. More of an inconvenience, really, but a weird design issue. The second, fatal problem arose this morning (June of 2014 - not even a year and a half later) - the pull tab no longer moves. No amount of pulling can activate the diverter. Nothing seems to have changed; it just stopped working. I've looked at it for the better part of an hour, and nothing seems different. The puller just no longer moves. Since a shower is typically built for the long haul, I'd recommend getting a different diverter. Less than 18 months is hardly the long haul.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work as advertised Our plumber recommended this product to use when installing a new showerhead and hand shower in our bathroom. However, after installation the diverter did not work as it was supposed to. It can send water to the shower head OR the hand shower but not both simultaneously. The plumber exchanged the part, yet the problem persists even with the new part. At this point even he doesn't think it is worth exchanging again and suggested we go with a different part/model/manufacturer. Disappointed in Delta :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not function as it said I search and read many articles to find out this diverter can do both hand shower and shower head together. However it cannot do it. The water pressure stronger than the control and push it to either shower head or hand shower. I am looking around for other brand and hope something can function for both head and hand shower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hated it! As soon as it was installed - I started looking for the replacement solution. Since diverter was as finger tip height (on my tip toes) I could never get a good grasp on the nob to operate it effectively - so I didn't often use it. Even when I could get my hand it it, it was a tight mechanism that required effort to move.I would recommend the other type of diverter manufactured by Delta - 2 fingers operation makes it more user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I like the multi-use of this shower arm diverter. It is simple to go from the shower head to the hand shower sprayer or have both on at the same time. Delivery was on time!
