No one sells the old kind of shower doors that hinge on one side and open all the way to the top of the shower enclosure. The new style is the pivoting kind. If one were overweight it wouldn't work, because the opening is not the full width of the shower. The biggest problem is that there is a support bar across the top of the shower, so if you are over 5'8" you have to duck to get into the shower. Not very convenient. This style is very attractive and I like the "rain" pattern in the glass

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shiveringinsandiego is this a joke?
this is an embarrassment for homedepot.
kit is missing parts.
no instructions come with the kit - instead there is a printed paper wadded up in the box referring me to a website. just print the instructions if you're going to include a paper anyway, what is the extra cost, four cents?
the instructions *do* have a list of the parts required to install the shower door - note - not the TOOLS required but the metal door parts that are supposed to keep my door from falling off. major brakets and parts are missing.
now my shower is going to have a terrible christmas.

I cut one piece short (top crossbar). I need to replace just that crossbar, but homedepot, delta, and liberty hardware will only sell it as a $155.00 kit. You can't get just one replacement part. Please keep in mind if you every have damage or installation issues, you will have to pay for every other part you don't need.

The door looked nice, but had a crossbar at the top. I am 6'2" and didn't want to crack my head on it getting in and out, I will need to keep looking for a pivot door with no top brace.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kimberly Missing Part - Home Depot Can't Help
Make sure you have all the parts before you start! Got the contractor here to install door and Part I wasn't in the box. Since this is a product that needs to be shipped to store - Home Depot would not help and didn't have anything in stock. Either return it all (it's half installed) or call Delta. Delta very nice on phone - 7-10 days to get it shipped (contractor will be out of state by then). Very costly missing part.
