Yes it is adjustable. It will adjust to have the shower head almost straight down like a rain shower.

Answer:
Yes, with a typical 3 1/2"-4" pipe that the shower head attaches to you can get near vertical with the ball fixture.

I bought this because it enables the shower head to be much higher in 2 bathrooms that are in a top floor dormer & basement with ceilings only 7 ft. The top of the shower arm comes out of the wall 9 1/2'' below the ceiling, but the bottom of the shower head spray area is an inch higher than that (6' 3 1/2"). Works great! I barely fit under the old conventional shower head at 5' 7". Now I get drenched from top to bottom, but do stand further away from it in 5 ft. shower stall.
If your ceilings are 8 ft. & shower arm @ 7 ft. you may be fine in a smaller space & the ball joint allows you
to position the handle more horizontally so the water flows down vertically from above.

Yes it will adjust a little bit but be careful, you must loosen the nut first or it may break the plastic. After you have it the way you want then tighten the nut firmly, I suggest by hand only.

Do not understand how this could happen. The holder has a tapered socket and the shower head has a taper on the handle. My suggestion is to take the holder and shower head to Home Depot and ask them about the problem.

Answer:
I don't have that problem with it falling out of the holder. It might just be a defective holder if it doesn't fit securely. If you like the performance of the shower head itself, take it back and exchange it for a new one. It's easy enough to install, mine fits "snugly".

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Problem fixed A few months after buying this product, the hose is leaking. I called customer service and told them about the problem, and they are mailing a new one to me, no questions asked. Thank you, Delta. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A wise purchase! After looking at this product in the store, then doing research online and reading reviews decided to purchase online and picked up same day in local store, convenient. We really like the features, very easy to install, . Like that it has a metal hose rather than plastic. The pause feature is nice although it doesn't completely stop. Very pleased ,would recommend! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Close to perfect We purchased two of these for our master bath. They deliver the feeling of more water, but hopefully are actually using less (its hard to know that for sure). I only use two of the five settings and I like the push-button ease of changing settings. My favorite feature is the shut-off button, which has allowed me to shut off the water while I lather up and then turn the water back on. This is definitely saving us water. However, this feature only shuts the water off to about 90%. We still get a serious dribble even after we use that button. And, when we release the hold and get the water flowing again, it takes 5 seconds for the water to go back to the temperature we set it at -- its either too hot or cold for those first 5 seconds. Still, we are pleased with it overall and would buy it again. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the different shower settings We love how easy it is to change the settings, from a gentle spray, to an invigorating pulsing massage. Don't have to fight twisting the head and hope it stops on the spray that you want. Appears to be very well made. May 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sleek style looks good in my bathroom love how I feel like I am getting full force pressure and actually saving water.I still feel clean and enjoy the flexibility of the pause button at hand and with its sleek style it looks good in my bathroom. May 15, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by weak. It looks nice, is easy to install and has a promising write up by the manufacturer."However" the stream from all 5 settings are the weakest I've had the displeasure of experiencing from any of these handshower attachments. What attracted me to this particular wand was the push button spray selector as opposed to the "dial" types where you have to turn the bezel to select a different pattern. Definitely not worth the price. I've owned several for half the cost. June 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hand Shower Ever! This is by far the best hand shower I have ever owned and I have gone through several over the years. It is an excellent product for the price. I like the pause button to save water while shaving and you don't lose the water temperature. It has an extra long hose so it reaches to the opposite side of my shower. The water wipes easily off the shower head and doesn't leave spot marks. The water nozzles are flush with the shower head for easy cleaning. I am so glad I purchased two of these, one for the master bath and one for the guest bath. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best showerhead!!! I bought one for both my bathrooms. My mom got the first as a mothers day gift and i ended up getting one for myself because it was better than the one i had. Love it! May 30, 2016
