Is the rain texture of the shower door is located on the outside?
Asked by: mitch
Mitch, Thank you for your question. The texture is throughout the glass. During installation there is a sticker to note what the inside of the glass is (with the EZ Clean Coating) and the outside. Best, Delta Shower Doors Team

Purchased these and installed them. they look amazing and were easy to install per directions. However, the top roller clamp screws that hold the clamp through the glass hit each other from panel A and panel B when operating/sliding the doors. I have tightened the screws, they still hit. Is this a common issue?
Asked by: InquiringHomeOwner
I have the exact same problem. Does anyone have a solution for this? I was thinking of slightly filing down the heads of the screws to give them clearance.

so the specs say the glass width is 29.03 and the door is 60", but 2x29 is 58. As I am putting them in delta's frame (which is a bypass, doors do not appear to go into a side frame), anyone know what size opening they really cover? I looked at the track specs and while it says 60" in the title, the specs say 47.37 max??
Asked by: Jack
The sixty inch covers just above a sixty inch opening. For wide installs the side rails must be flipped to add the extra 2 inches.

The bathroom looks terrific now with my new Delta Shower Surround and these fantastic doors. It was easy to customize the look for my bathroom by selecting the track type and finish as well as the bars. You can select from a variety of finishes and patterns for the glass. I selected the rain glass and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

We bought this door for our bathroom and when the contractor tried installing it, it was missing pieces. So now to bring this heavy door back to home depot to exchange it was a hassle. Our home depot did not even have another one in stock. SO anyone who is planning on purchasing this door, make sure everything is there before you buy these doors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Recommend, sort of Tough review to write because of a problem with the first set of doors I purchased. After installation, when the doors slid past each other they hit each other at the brackets that hold the doors in the track. I thought that perhaps I had reversed the brackets when I installed the doors. I removed one door and reversed the brackets and when I tried to reinstall the doors it slipped out of the track and fell and broke into thousands of pieces. I had to go back to Home Depot and buy another set of doors. It turns out the screws for the brackets on the new doors had very thin heads compared to the original set after I installed the door and changed the screws on the old door they worked as designed. Very unfortunate that I had to buy 2 sets of doors because Delta packed the wrong screws with the first set. They are exactly what we were looking for so I guess I would recommend them with a very large asterisk

I love the transitions of the rain design - classy and kind of sweet at the same time. Just the right amount of privacy and makes the door not seem like quite such the big flat panel that it is.
