Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it The installation is typical for faucets of this two handle design. I purchased this model in Chrome. It is gorgeous. The handles operate smoothly. The drain plug mechanism works - AKA water stays in the sink when you want it to. Installation was easy with my water system. It takes half an hour to an hour. It may take longer if you have to use tools to remove the old hardware and/or install the new hardware. I was able to hand tighten all connections and have no leaks. The longest part of the installation was installing the drain system. My water system is probably different than yours. The main water input comes into the master bedroom closet. It feeds into a zoned panel with a fancy door covering the works. Each zone has a shut off valve for hot and cold water. Water is piped through the house by way of the attic in semi-flexible plastic pipes. Hot is red. Cold is blue. It is the first time that I have seen this setup. It is Kool and extremely functional. The downside is that you need a second body to turn the water on and off, if you are purging the system. There is no shut off valve under any sink. The plastic feed line connects directly to the faucet. The connection on the input tubes is plastic, which is hand tightened or loosened. That is a major time saver.
