Customer Questions & Answers

how do I know when to replace the batteries?

Is there a flashing indicator light to tell me?
Asked by: roblyo
The blue light won't come on, or it will be red. If nothing happens, the batteries are dead, dead, dead.

Can the battery pack be mounted on the cabinet wall under the sink to keep the floor clear and the pack away from water, spillage, etc?

Asked by: Larry
Not really as it has to be fed SIX AA batteries. I'm sure you could try a hook & loop tape fix. Using a 9 volt batter works better.

How far from the backsplash wall does the faucet have to be for the handle to be fully operational?

Asked by: Anonymous
Just a few inches at most. 2-3 is plenty. It has a very small range of motion. If you still don't have room, you could just rotate the entire faucet to the side slightly.

Addison Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet Featuring Touch2O Technology with Soap Dispenser in Stainless is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 217.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this product! I bought this faucet today and it's going back in the morning. The solenoids on these are complete garbage. After installation and testing the faucet it just stopped working. The touch function doesn't work at all (never did). The solenoid that controls the water keeps turning on and off randomly for no reason. If it is off you can't get any water to come out the tap unless you manually bypass the solenoid by removing it all together. Defeats the purpose of the touch technology. My best guess after hours trying to figure it out is a faulty ground clip that connects the solenoid to the tap (wiggling the wires keeps turning the unit on and off). But I refuse to try and fix a brand new item on Delta's behalf. Do yourself a favor and Google the Delta touch2O problems before you think about buying one of these. They are widespread and difficult to fix completely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away! Works great for about 1.5 -2 years until the solenoid goes out which if you scour the internet appears to be a common problem. Parts are very expensive. Definitely not worth the money for something that becomes more of a hassle. In my opinion this product is not up to Deltas regular excellent standard.

I have owned this faucet for about 3-4 years now and recently just bought one as a house warming present for my daughter. Over the course of the 3-4 years we have owned, we have experience some intermittent problems such as it not responding to touch or turning on and off by itself. This has typically been an indication that the battery pack is low and batteries need to be replaced, but even this sometimes has not corrected the problem. Once I had to completely remove and reinstall in order to get it to work properly again and all I can assume is that one of the connections was not making proper contact in some way. But overall, I love the touch nature of the faucet and I would have to say that at least 95-97% of the time it works flawlessly. My daughter and her boyfriend like it so much they asked for it as the housewarming gift, so that should tell you something. One problem I will mention is that once you get used to it, you will likely start touching every faucet you come in contact with, at friends houses, family member houses, etc. and it usually takes two or three touches of their faucet to finally realize they likely don't have the same type of faucet and it really is operating properly, you just have to turn it on manually. Force of habit, there is no avoiding it. Only reason I don't give it five stars is that tempermental nature I mentioned, but overall you will like it very much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had my faucet installed for about a month before the touch feature stopped working. After inve... I had my faucet installed for about a month before the touch feature stopped working. After investigating the issue, I discovered a light layer of rust inside the neck (looking at the pic the break points are: Base, neck, pull out sprayer) of faucet. Delta's touch design requires continuity between the neck and the base in order for it to work. The metal sprayer hose is how they accomplish this. The hose is in constant contact with the neck and base thus constant continuity. When the rust developed in the neck I lost that continuity thus loosing my touch feature. Delta's solution: Replace the neck - I said OK, what do you want me to do next month when it does it again? They said call us and we will send you a new neck. This is not a solution but a band aid that I have to keep applying. Problem: The neck has a stainless coating on the outside, but steel on the inside, therefor any moisture that gets on the sprayer hose, when retracted, is transferred to the inside of the neck which starts the rust cycle. The rust then creates a break in the continuity. Solutions: 1. Pull your sprayer hose in and out until the rust layer is knocked off. 2. Separate the neck from the base, then drape a piece of aluminum foil over one the fingers of the plastic swivel mount (The swivel locks the neck to the base). When you drape the foil over the finger you will notice that it makes metal (base) to metal (foil) contact with the base. When you re-install the neck you have metal (foil) to metal (neck) contact with the neck. This solution actually make the touch feature work better. I only have to touch it once, works every time. Before, I would have to hit the neck on occasion to get it to work, now its just a touch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Addison kitchen faucet with touch20 tech I tried Addison single handle pull down kitchen faucet with touch20 tech for free. We switched our faucet in the kitchen sink with this. It was a big job installing and switching the wires and pipes that goes with it. It took us longer to hook it up. But it made my sink looking high tech and cool. So far, it has been working and running great. No complaints yet. We will see how this goes because this is a tap, hands free faucet. Hopefully, this will stay like this. Kids would be curious to tap and play. Crossing my fingers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet! I love this faucet! Being able to touch the faucet with my wrist when my hands are soiled is a wonderful idea. The sprayer portion is not metal so you can grab the sprayer without the water turning on. The light at the base is blue when the water is cold & slowly turns red as the water gets hotter. Nice feature! You need to leave the handle in the "on" position all the time In order for the touch feature to work, which I was concerned might cause the faucet to drip, but it hasn't. I would definitely recommend this faucet! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks when manual handle left on. I just had this faucet installed in a new construction home, by a professional plumber. The touch feature seems to work fine, with one exception. There is a steady rapid drip from the faucet after turning it off with the touch feature, that stops immediately when you close the manual handle. This is quite frustrating, as it negates the reason for having a touch faucet in the first place. It did this from the time it was first tested by the plumber after installation. I purchased Delta faucets for the entire house from a plumbing supply store in April, and they were just installed in the home in October. This issue has not gone away. All the features work correctly (light colors, etc) except that it will not shut off completely using the touch solenoid.
