I've had similar problems others have described with turn on/turn off by itself. Or won't turn off by touching; or turns on then off when touching. It worked fine in the beginning and I was thrilled. And even now it works fine for awhile, but if I'm using it a lot, it starts acting up with the "touchy" problems. I put new batteries in thinking that would help. It didn't. It started leaking at the handle and I called Home Depot who gave me Delta's warranty number. They sent me a part to replace. I had the plumber who originally installed put it in. He wondered why they didn't send me a new faucet since it's still under warranty. I wondered too. When I purchased, I looked up Delta faucets, and they had a high rating. Now I'm wondering why.

We have been used this faucet for 3 years and we really love it. We installed by ourself and since then it works fine. I recommended it to a relative and the faucet didn't work at the beginning. Probably was electrostatic interference. He wrapped the sensor/box with aluminum foil and now the faucet is working perfectly. I really recommend it!!!...

The Delta Touch activated faucet featuring Touch2O Technology is fantastic, The quality is excellent, Design is outstanding, The Temp sense lets me know when the water is warm to hot. Its a very smart product. I really like the option to purchase an AC adaptor to forgo the batteries. The pull down spray wand works great, It retracts right back in place every time. The faucet shuts itself off after a few minutes which I like. The water pressure is much better than my previous faucet. I love the two stream feature, and the warranty can't be beat. Excellent product, I would highly recommend.

When selecting products for a new house we looked at many suppliers. For our kitchen faucet we selected the Delta single handle Addison faucet in arctic stainless. We enjoy the convenience of the single handle and touch on/off feature and have also had many friends comment on the functional but artistic appearance. However, I mainly want to comment on the great customer support I received from Delta. I told them the issue and they immediately shipped me a replacement base for the touch feature. When I went to replace the part I realized the faucet retaining nut has a special wrench that comes with the faucet but was not left behind by the installer. I went to Ferguson the distributor we used and they said they could order one for me but suggested I call Delta. I did and again they were very understanding and helpful and shipped me the wrench at no charge. I wish all the other suppliers of materials for the house had the same attitude as Delta Faucets.

The Delta faucet has been a great addition to our kitchen renovation. I love the touch feature. The only thing that has gone wrong with it was the rusting/wearing out of the magnet. But to Delta's credit, it has a lifetime warranty and they replaced it. I received the replacement parts within a few days after I called them.

Worked fine for about a year. Now the touch feature hardly ever works, and when I turn the water on it stays on for a few seconds, then turns off, then on for a few more seconds, then off, etc. over and over again. Changing batteries did not help.
I'd like to just make it work like a normal faucet, and forget about the touch feature, but don't know how. Any help?
