Customer Questions & Answers

Does this faucet run off electricity or batteries or both? If there is electricity involved, is it dual voltage?

Asked by: Anonymous
The faucet comes with a battery pack and batteries. That said you can purchase a separate ac adapter so that it can be plugged in. The directions do note that it should not be plugged installed specifically for a garbage disposal. I added the adapter and loaded the battery pack so that if the power goes out it will still work.

I am wondering if the water automatically switches back to regular after using spray feature.

After using the spray feature and then putting the nozzle back and touching off, when you turn it back on will it be in spray mode or revert to regular?
Asked by: Momof2
Hi, The spray feature remains in this mode until you change it back to stream even if you turn off the faucet.

How much clearance is needed for the handle, or does it move left to right? We have a tile backsplash behind the sink.

Asked by: Tracey
I just installed this. I was worried as the specs said 2.5" but I only had about 1.75" from center to my backsplash. Everything fit fine and works just fine. The top of the handle, which is the farthest to go back, is higher than my 6" high backsplash and even if it wasn't there would still be about 1/3 of an inch between it and the backsplash at the most extreme position.

Addison Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome with Touch2O Technology and MagnaTite Docking is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 163.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from When it works, it's a life-changer, and then it stops working and you want to scream So this was for 7 months the PERFECT kitchen faucet. If i could have given it 6 stars, i would have. i never thought i "needed" touch to start and touch to stop technology, but once you have lived with it for a few days, you cannot imagine how you managed to do without it. As important: the fact that the faucet turns itself off after 2 minutes is an entirely separate lifesaver. Once you have it, you'll want it forever. But. That was then. This is now. Now, the Touch2O component has stopped working altogether. And the red/purple/blue color-temperature indicator is unreliable: in the past, when it was lit, the faucet was ON and Touch2O was working. This is just maddening. within installation from a professioanl plumber, this piece was like five hundred dollars. 7 months of use is just not ok.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Faucet is good quality. Avoid the Touch 2O models. This faucet operates as a manual faucet is expected to, however the Touch2O technology simply wasn't ready for release. Our experience is similar to others reported here; a brief period of proper touch operation which degrades to the disappointing performance mentioned by others. We've replaced batteries, the valve assembly, bonnet nut and contact assembly, all to no avail. It is so unreliable that just attempting to use it as a manual faucet is a colossal pain. There is a reason product selection has been reduced, and TV advertisements have apparently been curtailed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away! Works great for about 1.5 -2 years until the solenoid goes out which if you scour the internet appears to be a common problem. Parts are very expensive. Definitely not worth the money for something that becomes more of a hassle. In my opinion this product is not up to Deltas regular excellent standard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Addison kitchen faucet with touch20 tech I tried Addison single handle pull down kitchen faucet with touch20 tech for free. We switched our faucet in the kitchen sink with this. It was a big job installing and switching the wires and pipes that goes with it. It took us longer to hook it up. But it made my sink looking high tech and cool. So far, it has been working and running great. No complaints yet. We will see how this goes because this is a tap, hands free faucet. Hopefully, this will stay like this. Kids would be curious to tap and play. Crossing my fingers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this faucet! I love this faucet! Being able to touch the faucet with my wrist when my hands are soiled is a wonderful idea. The sprayer portion is not metal so you can grab the sprayer without the water turning on. The light at the base is blue when the water is cold & slowly turns red as the water gets hotter. Nice feature! You need to leave the handle in the "on" position all the time In order for the touch feature to work, which I was concerned might cause the faucet to drip, but it hasn't. I would definitely recommend this faucet! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The faucet is very pretty, matches and looks great. The problem is with the touch2o technology--... The faucet is very pretty, matches and looks great. The problem is with the touch2o technology-- sometimes the faucet will just turn on-- no one is even close to it. Then other times it will blink and turn off and on-- again we are across the room. It makes us nervous to "leave" the faucet in the on position for any length of time or if we leave the house-- which is kind of part of why we spent the money to get a touch faucet....so, that part of it is very disappointing. If it were just a regular faucet, it would probably be great or maybe we have ghosts??

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks when manual handle left on. I just had this faucet installed in a new construction home, by a professional plumber. The touch feature seems to work fine, with one exception. There is a steady rapid drip from the faucet after turning it off with the touch feature, that stops immediately when you close the manual handle. This is quite frustrating, as it negates the reason for having a touch faucet in the first place. It did this from the time it was first tested by the plumber after installation. I purchased Delta faucets for the entire house from a plumbing supply store in April, and they were just installed in the home in October. This issue has not gone away. All the features work correctly (light colors, etc) except that it will not shut off completely using the touch solenoid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love it!! I love that I can turn on with just a touch and that there is auto turn off. I used to always leave the water running because I hated having to wash and dry the knobs and my hands while I was still using it. Set up was a little tricky, but that's usual with faucets due to having to get under the sink, now let's see how long this lasts with the batteries, but so far, this is GREAT!!!
