Messy hands touch on a Delta Touch2O faucet

Delta Addison Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology

Delta Touch2O Technology makes kitchen tasks easy: simply touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. Operates manually (with handle) and with Touch2O functionality.

A Simple Touch Makes Life That Much Easier

Responsive, Precise and Reliable

Touch2O Technology is based on highly responsive, precise and reliable capacitance technology similar to that found on smart phones or tablets. Outside factors such as lighting conditions, clothing color or reflections do not interfere with the sensing capability.

Hand touches faucet on

Full Control

Technology in the faucet spout and handle can sense the difference between a touch and a grab, ensuring the faucet does not turn on and off while being adjusted.

Hand touching Touch-Clean nozzle

Touch-Clean Spray Holes

While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up, the soft rubber spray holes allow mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look.

LED light at base of faucet

TempSense LED Light

Light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and reduce possible surprises or discomfort. The LED light also indicates when batteries need to be replaced.

Faucet with magnetic docking

MagnaTite Docking

A powerful integrated magnet snaps your faucet spray wand precisely into place and holds it there. The wand stays docked when not in use and doesn't droop over time.

Customer Questions & Answers

Does this faucet run off electricity or batteries or both? If there is electricity involved, is it dual voltage?

Asked by: Anonymous
The faucet comes with a battery pack and batteries. That said you can purchase a separate ac adapter so that it can be plugged in. The directions do note that it should not be plugged installed specifically for a garbage disposal. I added the adapter and loaded the battery pack so that if the power goes out it will still work.

I am wondering if the water automatically switches back to regular after using spray feature.

After using the spray feature and then putting the nozzle back and touching off, when you turn it back on will it be in spray mode or revert to regular?
Asked by: Momof2
Hi, The spray feature remains in this mode until you change it back to stream even if you turn off the faucet.

How much clearance is needed for the handle, or does it move left to right? We have a tile backsplash behind the sink.

Asked by: Tracey
I just installed this. I was worried as the specs said 2.5" but I only had about 1.75" from center to my backsplash. Everything fit fine and works just fine. The top of the handle, which is the farthest to go back, is higher than my 6" high backsplash and even if it wasn't there would still be about 1/3 of an inch between it and the backsplash at the most extreme position.

It worked fine for 13 months with the exception of the LED lights never working. And then last week the water would run for 2 seconds and stop. I can't rinse dishes, wash my hands, etc. without continually tapping the faucet bar for more water. I was told by a handyman to clean the screens in the faucet head. So I read how to detach the sprayer head and clean the screens. However, when I detached the sprayer head, the retractable hose snapped into faucet fixture with no way of getting it out without disassembling the entire unit. Now to spend more money on a plumber to get this faucet working at less than satisfactory again. A very expensive mistake buying this faucet.

Delta sent me parts each time to fix it but still have issues. Called them today to see what I have to do to convert to normal faucet. The red light at base stays on even when no water has been thru and is cold. You have to keep touching the faucet to stay on. It shuts off after about 5 seconds. Drives my wife crazy. Big disappointment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away! Works great for about 1.5 -2 years until the solenoid goes out which if you scour the internet appears to be a common problem. Parts are very expensive. Definitely not worth the money for something that becomes more of a hassle. In my opinion this product is not up to Deltas regular excellent standard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Purchased this faucet in July 2015 and after a week had to take it back to the store I purchased it at and they replaced it. Not even two years later and the faucet is not working properly. Faucet started out by turning on by itself and not turning off. Replaced the batteries and it stopped for awhile. Now it will just turn off and on repeatedly. When I touch the battery pack with my finger it will work how it is supposed to. Couldn't get it to work manually without the batteries but now it will work without the batteries. Highly disappointed in this product for the money I spent on it.

The problem is with the touch2o technology-- sometimes the faucet will just turn on-- no one is even close to it. Then other times it will blink and turn off and on-- again we are across the room. It makes us nervous to "leave" the faucet in the on position for any length of time or if we leave the house-- which is kind of part of why we spent the money to get a touch, that part of it is very disappointing. If it were just a regular faucet, it would probably be great or maybe we have ghosts??

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaks when manual handle left on. I just had this faucet installed in a new construction home, by a professional plumber. The touch feature seems to work fine, with one exception. There is a steady rapid drip from the faucet after turning it off with the touch feature, that stops immediately when you close the manual handle. This is quite frustrating, as it negates the reason for having a touch faucet in the first place. It did this from the time it was first tested by the plumber after installation. I purchased Delta faucets for the entire house from a plumbing supply store in April, and they were just installed in the home in October. This issue has not gone away. All the features work correctly (light colors, etc) except that it will not shut off completely using the touch solenoid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kitchen Faucet We bought this faucet in October of 2104. It is now late February of 2017, and we are having to replace the batteries for the first time! I love the Touch20 technology! My hands can be full of dough from baking bread, but I'm still able to easily get the water going. Additionally, there haven't been any leaky washers, and the magnetic docking for the hose is still holding strong! I'm so happy with my purchase.

My wife thought this would be a wonderful addition to our newly remodeled kitchen, it has a very nice looking, solid feel and I am very pleased with the overall look. Now that being said....if you want water to come out you will be disappointed, annoyed and possibly angered. It has a mind of its own, turn it on water comes out for 2 seconds than shuts off, tap it water comes on and shuts off by itself. NEVER leave the lever on for it will randomly come on and off. It is ridiculous to spend that much money on something as simple as a faucet, and it NOT work. To wash your hands you may have to tap it 10-15 times just to rinse the soap off your hands, then it may work as its supposed to (very rarely). I would definitely recommend it to the neighbor whose dog barks all night or to that Ex you just cant stand. Never again Delta,Never ever again. Delta should include a way to by-pass this miserable Touch feature.
