CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wish the legs had suction cups The chair is fine and secure enough for sitting in the tub; however, the normal implication is to grab the back of the chair for support when getting out of the tub. We have grab bars on the side of the tub but my mom still tries to use the back of the chair for support. She's never in the tub alone so the chair is workable for us, but be aware the chair offers absolutely no support as a grab bar. Would be 5 stars if there were suction cups at the bottom of the legs like those found in transfer benches. There are less expensive chairs of equal quality on the market but most require delivery so I paid more to be able to pick this up in the store. February 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shower chair for my mom! I bought this for my mother that just got out of the hospital and she was a little shaky. Very easy to assemble and a very sturdy chair. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shower chair Adjustable for taller person or one with hip or knee problems. It replaced a lower non-adjustable shower chair. January 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shower chair i purchased this product online and had a friend pick it up at my local store. upon having it put together my friend pointed out that one of the bolts was rusty and the seat looked dirty. while taking a closer look i could see mold growing in the holes of the seat . i was appalled to buy a new item and found it had been used . this item should have been checked by the person taking the return so that this doesnt happen at all home depot dropped the ball big time October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You never know when... So suddenly there I was with a cast on my leg...never had a cast before. So many things to figure out how to accomplish! It seems there are a lot of things that you can't do while using crutches. Hmmm...Oh no, I can't stand in the shower?! YIKES!!! Home Depot to the rescue! Color me surprised, who even knew that they would carry such merchandise! Well they DO, and it was IN STOCK at my local store!! I was able to place the order online, prepay, and send my support staff (husband) to pick it up. He wasn't all frustrated having to wander around the store having shop for something without me, and my new shower chair was back home in short order. Assembly was even quicker! If fits my guest bathtub perfectly, close enough to the side so I can sit on the side and swing my legs into the tub while I scoot my backside into the seat but with enough space to still close the shower curtain. The height of the chair is adjustable so you can make it match to rim of the top of the tub wall. This item is sturdy too, I felt absolutely secure sitting and moving about to get to all those hard to reach areas. No worries about it damaging my tub either, the feet are well padded and don't slide around. There are holes in the seat and back for drainage, and convenient handles too. I can't think of any thing negative to say, I wish I didn't need the seat, but since I do I am glad to have this one. I will keep this in storage once I no longer need it, you just never know... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Safe and Secure Showering Easy to assemble and adjust height. Just what my father-in-law needed after heart surgery to feel secure in the shower. Fit inside our tub with no problem. Easy to clean also. September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly as described Easy to put together, exactly as described. Was a life saver after my surgery. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Strong sturdy chair Recently had surgery and showering would have been impossible. Chair is sturdy and I felt safe sitting in it. Legs are adjustable and chair was worth every penny. June 30, 2015
