It is important to me for future service and for new construction. All fans used by contractors the motor and humidity switch should stay out until all the drywall is done and paint has been sprayed. The unit I purchased at the blue store across the street the motor does not come out.

Answer:
Delta Breez models VFB25ACH, VFB25ADH, VFB25AEH, and VFB080D4H1 are single unit design where the fan motor and housing can not be separated. All other Delta Breez models are modular design with removable fan motor.

My unit will no longer shut off completely even after the bathroom has dehumidified and the door is open. It worked fine for about 5 months.

I have made sure that it is set on the blue light setting for dehumidifying. I installed it in a new home 5 months ago and it just stopped working correctly 2 weeks ago. I have flipped the breaker off and back on. There is no residual humidity in the bathroom that would be triggering it to continue. Any suggestions?

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan, runs quietly and turns on for humidity just as indicated Fan was easy to assemble and install, light weight and works well in the bathroom August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job well!! The humidity sensor and 0.3 sone were the reason I bought this fan and it lives up to both those features. Have it installed since a month, no issues whatsoever. Added it to a small bathroom which had no fan earlier, the difference after taking a shower is night and day. It keeps my bathroom fresh!! I had it installed via a handyman hence can't comment on its intallation ease or otherwise. As others have said, the blue light acts as a nice nightlight providing enough light so you don't need to switch in the main lights. June 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great humidity sensing exhaust fan This has been installed for a few weeks now and it has been working perfectly. The exhaust on this unit is larger than my old one (which was probably from the 70s when the house was built), so I had to get a larger exhaust hose, but other than that there were no installation issues. The fan's auto detect mode works great and has a blue light that glows to let you know it's in auto mode, or you can switch it to manual mode (to keep the fan on) and the light will glow orange. You can also just leave the fan off. The fan is also really quiet - I couldn't even tell it was on until I was in the bathroom, and even then it's just a soft whirring. January 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Exhaust Fan I had a constant problem of getting family members to turn the exhaust fan on when taking showers. Mold and rust were constant problems. What I love about this fan is that it has a humidity sensor that automatically turns on and off as needed. That part works great. I also installed a special switch by Leviton that has a removable key switch so that it will not accidentally get turned off. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that it has a slight rattle to it when it runs. It is way quieter than what I had before. I do think it is a little on the pricey side for this unit, but overall felt it was a good value. I have bought a second one for my other bathroom and hope to install it soon. February 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome fan What a difference this fan made in our bathroom. Fantastic function and the dual modes work great. I bought another for the 2nd bathroom. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm a big fan of this fan. I was so impressed by this fan that I bought a second one for another bathroom. It is very quiet and if you want a little peace and serenity while you soak in the tub without creating a cloud of condensation this is perfect. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and great features! This fan was easy to install. Very quiet and easy to toggle from regular fan to humidity fan. In the humidity mode the fan will turn off by itself when all the moisture is out. Also, there are two different lights to determine which mode you are in. September 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This fan is the best I've ever had. It takes the steam out lickety split. Also, there's an indicator light on it, which during the night acts as the PERFECT night light. Just enough light for nighttime bathroom visits without too might light to wake you up.
