It is important to me for future service and for new construction. All fans used by contractors the motor and humidity switch should stay out until all the drywall is done and paint has been sprayed. The unit I purchased at the blue store across the street the motor does not come out.

Answer:
Delta Breez models VFB25ACH, VFB25ADH, VFB25AEH, and VFB080D4H1 are single unit design where the fan motor and housing can not be separated. All other Delta Breez models are modular design with removable fan motor.

My unit will no longer shut off completely even after the bathroom has dehumidified and the door is open. It worked fine for about 5 months.

I have made sure that it is set on the blue light setting for dehumidifying. I installed it in a new home 5 months ago and it just stopped working correctly 2 weeks ago. I have flipped the breaker off and back on. There is no residual humidity in the bathroom that would be triggering it to continue. Any suggestions?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom fan Delta Breeze 80cfm Have installed the fan installation went well. Fan is working very well. Only had it in for two days but seems to work perfectly. Very quiet and no fogging up the mirror. So far very happy with purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great humidity sensing exhaust fan This has been installed for a few weeks now and it has been working perfectly. The exhaust on this unit is larger than my old one (which was probably from the 70s when the house was built), so I had to get a larger exhaust hose, but other than that there were no installation issues. The fan's auto detect mode works great and has a blue light that glows to let you know it's in auto mode, or you can switch it to manual mode (to keep the fan on) and the light will glow orange. You can also just leave the fan off. The fan is also really quiet - I couldn't even tell it was on until I was in the bathroom, and even then it's just a soft whirring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a big fan of this fan. I was so impressed by this fan that I bought a second one for another bathroom. It is very quiet and if you want a little peace and serenity while you soak in the tub without creating a cloud of condensation this is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fan for small bathroom I'm using this fan for a small bathroom (tub/shower, toilet, sink). It's very quiet (on auto, I can barely hear it running) and vents heat and moisture very quickly. It would have been nice if it had a motion detector built in, but I suspect the more expensive units might. The unit itself was wider than the previous unit, so we had to make a larger hole in the ceiling, but it connected easily to the existing vent duct and power wires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and great features! This fan was easy to install. Very quiet and easy to toggle from regular fan to humidity fan. In the humidity mode the fan will turn off by itself when all the moisture is out. Also, there are two different lights to determine which mode you are in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good overall but the humidyty sensing bit not working so great The fan is nice overall, It was easy to install, seems well built, it is quiet, I like the option to cut it on at full speed if needed. However the humidity sensor is either not working properly or the humidity in my house is too high (no AC) causing the fan to stay on constantly. I have not tried to stick a dehumidifier in the bathroom yet to see what it would take to make it turn off - bottom line, there should at least be a way to adjust the humidity sensor which is a little bit of a cop out since the humidity sensing was the whole reason I bought the fan in the first place and it doesn't seem like it's working so well in my climate zone .
