We are ordering two faucets for our "trough" sink in bathroom and would like to place the faucets on the opposite sides of the sink - one on each side, which will require one faucet to have handle on the left side while the other one on the right...or even both faucets having handles on the back side? Possible?

Hi WhiteDogFarm,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 1997LF can be installed with the handle on the opposite side. However, keep in mind that with the handle on the opposite side, the hot and cold will be reversed.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 1997lf This faucet looks nice but is a piece of garbage! Installed it on my farm house sink. It regularly came loose so I would have to re tighten it. Then, it began to leak from the handle cartridge. It made a big mess! I called delta and they sent me a new handle cartridge. Had my father who is a professional plumber install this time. Good for a while but then bam! Same issue. This time it caused damage to basement because water leaked through floor! Steer clear of this product! August 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great, Solid Feel Seems like a well built faucet. Heavy and great looking. We were looking for a faucet to run separate cold un-softened water to the kitchen sink and every faucet we found that was a single source was rather cheap looking. This is a dual (hot and cold) water faucet but by using a shut off valve with two output nipples we were able to run cold water to both the hot and cold connections. A rather easy install for a DIYer. We installed this with a Delta Victorian faucet and they compliment each other nicely. Very happy so far. June 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good faucet Good faucet. Copper water line connections could be a little longer in lenght. Also spigot could be little bigger in lenght. Not hard to be installed and works fine. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The faucet is well worth the money I waited a few months before I wrote my review....I purchased this bronze finished faucet to replace my old bronze finished faucet. THE OLD ONE had peeled off after only a year and no longer had any bronze look remaining at all....However the Cassidy, after months of repeated use and scrubbings, is still bronze! It also, as a single handle spigot, distributes the water very evenly as the water pressure increases....something that can be tricky for a faucet with a design such as this, but again the Cassidy has outperformed my own expectations! It may seem expensive it this economy, but you get what you pay for, and this faucet is worth every penny and then some! October 19, 2012
