Answer:
Hi homebuilder,
Thank you for your question. The flow rate can be adjusted by tilting the handle away from the faucet. The temperature is adjusted by rotating the handle forward.
Best regards,
Jon

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197-AR-DST will flow cold water when it is straight and will flow hot water when pulled in the forward position.
Thanks.

Same question we had. Ours is cold up and hot down. Friends seem to think it is backwards, but our plumber insists it is correct.

Answer:
Hi DeanY,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197-AR-DST flows water at 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. We do offer a model that has an adjustable flow rate which means you can get an extra high flow rate for rinsing off those stubborn stains. Model 9192-AR-DST will normally flow at 1.5 gpm but it can be boosted up to 2.0 if needed. The model 9197-AR-DST does not have that feature.
Thanks.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great looking bar faucet I love being able to change from a spray to stream and it also looks great and matches the one in the kitchen. June 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet This faucet was installed in my new kitchen in November just before Thanksgiving and I have been using it for the past six months, it is perfect. I am completely satisfied with this purchase, not only does it operate flawlessly, it is a very attractive design and looks great in my beautiful new kitchen. May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I wanted!! The faucet works wonderfully with our new sink and looks great with the kitchen remodel. Word of caution - the base and column are a bit larger than I realized. Just barely fit against the window sill behind our sink. May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tried for two years The control is not smooth. Worked with my plumber to correct, no dice. THe movement between off and on and hot and cold is jerky and is hard to get exact levels. Put up with it for almost two years and still not smooth. Three hundred dollars down the drain. Replaced it today with a Moen. This one is really smooth and easy to use. April 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great faucet Easy to install, though for my stainless steel sink I needed to order a baseplate to cover the old three-hole arrangement, and a reinforcing backing plate to install under the sink (sold separately). Connections were easy. It is a very nice looking, performing faucet and has significantly upgraded the appearance of my kitchen! January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great So far so good. We installed this faucet in our new kitchen a couple days ago. Water pressure is good. Hopefully it will last us a long time. February 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sink faucet Easy to put in. Works great and looks great with our sink and appliances. January 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very satisfied with this purchase. We've been through several faucets in the past two years. We've learned that you get what you pay for and certain brands are better (Delta) than others. We saw this one on the web site and were impressed that it looked simple to operate and perhaps more reliable because of that. The actual unit looks better than the photo in our opinion. Operation is simple, no hunting for just the right lever position to stop leaking! We've had it for 3 months now and it is running fine. Hopefully, that will continue. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. February 3, 2015
