Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197T-DST will work with our A/C adapter model EP73954. This gives you a choice for either batteries or using the adapter.
Thanks.

Hi Lisvi,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197T-AR-DST does have an escutcheon plate for an 8" installation with 3 holtes. However, it needs to be ordered separately with model RP71545AR.
Thanks.

Yes, you can leave the handle at whatever temp and flow rate. Of course if it was set to hot or medium hot and you come back much later, it will take time for the hot water to get from your water heater to your faucet.

There is a small Blue LED in the base that shows blue when the electronic valve is open. This is handy when you touch the faucet and nothing happens because someone else turned it off at the handle and you didn't notice (kept me from thinking something wrong with faucet). The LED also goes red when the batteries get low, but that hasn't happened yet. Read Less

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9197T-AR-DST can have the temperature and flow rate set with the handle. As long as the handle is in the on position, the flow rate and temperature will stay the same when you touch the faucet.
Thanks.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this faucet My wife and pondered if the touch feature was worth the extra money. Having used the faucet now for a month or so, the answer is YES. Also, the fact that the handle operates from top to bottom rather than front to back, like most other faucets we looked at, was another major consideration. If we had installed one of those others, we'd not be able to fully rotate the handle as it would hit the backsplash before it was all the way back. We also like the magnetic docking for the sprayer head. It gives a reassuring click when you push the sprayer head back into the faucet arm so no worries and it not seating properly. It was easy to install (in granite countertop), the instructions seemed to me to be pretty clear. If you worry about the touch feature having issues, it's a simple matter of disconnecting the two hoses that go to and from the value assembly and connecting the two ends together so you can use it as a conventional faucet. But so far, no issues what so ever. April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth paying a little more Installation was easy and the faucet functions perfectly. We really like the touch on/off feature. It makes using the fauced easier / more convenient. The pull out sprayer does not activate the touch on/off. This works great so you can swing the faucet to where you want to use it without unintentionally turning it on or off. Then tap the curved part at the top close by to control the on/off feature. It works great. July 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lover Everything about this Faucet I am not sure what I like the most about this faucet, the touch feature the pull-down or the finish (champagne bronze). I am thrilled with my choice and it is worth every penny!! October 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kitchen faucet "love" My whole family LOVES this faucet! The touch on and touch off feature is what puts it over and above other faucets. My daughter wants one in every room! May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Kitchen Purchase Ever! This seems to be a hit/miss product. IMO, Delta hasn't really perfected the technology, so some folks get faucets that work well and others get faucets that are frustratingly uneven in performance. We bought one of these faucets less than 2 months ago and it works wonderfully except: it turns itself on/off randomly - and Delta doesn't seem to be able to fix that problem. Sometimes, it just won't turn on at all. It will turn itself on when we're in another room, on another floor, etc. The Husband disconnected the electronics, so now we have an overpriced manual faucet - that doesn't turn itself on/off. We paid a lot of money for this faucet and a higher plumber's fee because of the electronics. I've contacted Dell several times - all we get back is "more photos please", and jargon. Terrible customer support and a technology that needed at least a year more in the lab. June 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Faucet but don't buy it for the touch feature. We've had this faucet for around a year. At first it was great! Everything worked and looked great. After a few months it needed new batteries, that's when everything changed. We replaced the batteries and the touch feature stopped working properly. If you leave the faucet on and touch it, it does not turn on. So we have to use the handle to turn it on and off, but even more frustrating is when we use the handle to turn the water on, it turns on for a second, then you have to touch it to turn it back on. Then the touch does not work to turn it back off! We've changed the batteries several times, even opened a brand new pack, it is clearly not the batteries. We've done all the trouble shooting on the website, which consists of changing batteries and making sure nothing is touching under the sink but neither help. September 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Magnificent addition to my kitchen The Delta Cassidy was easy to install and works like a charm. It was the perfect choice for my kitchen renovation. The touch feature works just as stated. The ability to change the water stream is an added plus. March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely It's attractive and I like the touch technology. I specifically like that the spray head stays on spray even with low water pressure (previous faucet would always fall back to the regular flow). I like the LED light changing color based on the temperature of the water. I just wish I had a basin wrench so I would have been able to install (remove the previous faucet). Overall, I like it, but feel its a bit pricey. No problems with it so far. August 16, 2015
