My wife and pondered if the touch feature was worth the extra money. Having used the faucet now for a month or so, the answer is YES. Also, the fact that the handle operates from top to bottom rather than front to back, like most other faucets we looked at, was another major consideration. If we had installed one of those others, we'd not be able to fully rotate the handle as it would hit the backsplash before it was all the way back. We also like the magnetic docking for the sprayer head. It gives a reassuring click when you push the sprayer head back into the faucet arm so no worries and it not seating properly.
It was easy to install (in granite countertop), the instructions seemed to me to be pretty clear. If you worry about the touch feature having issues, it's a simple matter of disconnecting the two hoses that go to and from the value assembly and connecting the two ends together so you can use it as a conventional faucet. But so far, no issues what so ever.

Installation was easy and the faucet functions perfectly. We really like the touch on/off feature. It makes using the fauced easier / more convenient. The pull out sprayer does not activate the touch on/off. This works great so you can swing the faucet to where you want to use it without unintentionally turning it on or off. Then tap the curved part at the top close by to control the on/off feature. It works great.

The touch functionality is really nice, though it is sporadic at times. My main issue is that the faucet drip when the tap is open and the touch system is set to "closed". If I shut the tap off, the dripping stops, but that eliminates the touch functionality, which is the reason we all spend the extra $$$ on this faucet.

Touch2OTechnology is probably the coolest feature I have seen in a faucet…I am a bit of a nut when it comes to clean hands while cooking and undeniably hate touching the faucet if I am handling raw meat. However, I unavoidably touch the faucet several times while cooking as I am constantly washing my hands. This is where the Delta Touch2o comes in to play as all you need to do to activate the faucet is simply tap anywhere on the spout or handle of the faucet with your hand, wrist, or forearm to start and stop the flow of water…Awesome right? Setting up the faucet was not difficult at all and my husband which is in the computer field (definitely not a plumber), was able to have the old faucet removed and the new faucet installed in about an hour. That is not bad at all if you consider that he was reading the instructions as he was going with the install.
The faucet looks amazing and it is easy to clean, so I can’t tell you how much I like this faucet!

Just installed this yesterday. The most I ever got out of the solenoid was that the LED changed color in accordance with the water temperature. The touch feature never once worked. Watched a handful of youtubes and googled a bunch, tried all trouble shooting methods (new batteries, etc) and still was not successful.
While solenoid was engaged the water would shut off after 10 or fewer seconds, and would not be able to be turned back on. I was relegated to removing the solenoid and just using it in 100% manual mode. I love the faucet even in manual mode, but paid extra for the Touch functionality that is completely broken.

I am very surprised with all the similar comments about the issues with the Touch2O technology that Delta hasn't issued a recall or made a public statement. Are you just going to address all of our issues independently? There's got to be a serious flaw somewhere and I would like to see you address it. I need a new solenoid. A better, more consistent solenoid please. I've sent an email to Customer Service so please help us all once and for all.

This seems to be a hit/miss product. IMO, Delta hasn't really perfected the technology, so some folks get faucets that work well and others get faucets that are frustratingly uneven in performance.
We bought one of these faucets less than 2 months ago and it works wonderfully except: it turns itself on/off randomly - and Delta doesn't seem to be able to fix that problem. Sometimes, it just won't turn on at all. It will turn itself on when we're in another room, on another floor, etc.
The Husband disconnected the electronics, so now we have an overpriced manual faucet - that doesn't turn itself on/off. We paid a lot of money for this faucet and a higher plumber's fee because of the electronics.
I've contacted Dell several times - all we get back is "more photos please", and jargon. Terrible customer support and a technology that needed at least a year more in the lab.
