Product Overview

This Cassidy Touch Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Venetian Bronze is the obvious choice for a timeless, traditionally-styled kitchen. Inspired by a 1800s ad for a Victorian corset, the bottom of the faucet is pulled in like a cinched corset, adding visual tension with elegant detailing. The Cassidy collection's classical design plays off of the hugely popular Victorian-esque architecture. Touch on. Touch off. With Touch2O Technology, it doesn't matter if you have two full hands or ten messy fingers. Tap anywhere on the spout or handle and the water is running. Turning off the water between tasks is easier too, saving water. MagnaTite docking keeps the kitchen pull-down spray wand firmly in place with a powerful integrated magnet, so it stays docked when not in use.

  • Venetian bronze, a low-gloss, deeply warm finish with subdued highlights
  • Touch2O technology allows water to be turned on and off with just a touch anywhere along the spout or handle
  • On/off indicator light also signals when batteries are low
  • MagnaTite docking keeps the spray wand securely in place when not in use
  • ADA-compliant lever handle provides precise temperature and volume control
  • 2-function wand operates in stream or spray mode
  • 62 in. braided hose ensures smooth operation
  • 5-year limited warranty covers parts and finish defects

Customer Questions & Answers

can you set the flow rate and temperature and then turn it off by touching? and then back on at the same settings?

Asked by: cornbread
Yes, you can leave the handle at whatever temp and flow rate. Of course if it was set to hot or medium hot and you come back much later, it will take time for the hot water to get from your water heater to your faucet. There is a small Blue LED in the base that shows blue when the electronic valve is open. This is handy when you touch the faucet and nothing happens because someone else turned it off at the handle and you didn't notice (kept me from thinking something wrong with faucet). The LED also goes red when the batteries get low, but that hasn't happened yet.

We were all excited to install this faucet into our newly renovated kitchen. It looks really pretty and the touch feature is fun to use. One huge issue though! The water flow is more like a trickle and that is of a great disappointment to us. We had the faucet installed by a lic plumber and the valves are wide open so there are absolutely no restrictions in the lines or in the valve. Yet the trickle that comes out is hardly enough to rinse your hands much less the dishes. The plumber has tried everything he knew of and yet we are left with a trickle. This is so discouraging to us because we were so looking forward to this faucet. We are now having to look for a different faucet to replace the Cassidy. Our reno included 3 baths and the kitchen and all of them we used Delta products with no water flow issues, this is the largest expense of all of them and the one that does not work to our expectations. Very Sad indeed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch Technology is only reliable for causing frustration. Our faucet was professionally installed over a year ago. Today, my wife asked me to find another faucet. We are tired of the Touch technology not working. Airport sinks and soap dispensers are more reliable than this faucet. Battery charge makes no difference. The only fail proof way we have found to turn the water flow on and off is to touch the battery holder. Don't need to squeeze it, just touch it in any way. This seems to make the faucet happy for one or two uses, then it refuses to function again. If there is a way to eliminate the touch on feature on this faucet, I need that information. Otherwise, my wife will be getting an entirely new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The touch feature is why we purchased this; but has been nothing but problems. Nice looking faucet. Spray nozzle works well. Touch technology is not good at all. The faucet now runs for 10 seconds then shuts off. Extremely frustrating. Considering the cost of the product I would not expect it to preform so poorly. Very disappointed. Should not have to change batteries so frequently. Even most recent battery replacement did not correct issue. Cannot even use the kitchen sink now as water comes on for 10 seconds then goes off. Takes 10 seconds before can turn on water again. Beyond frustrating. This technology is not yet perfected in this faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch faucet unreliable We moved into a new house that came with a 9197T-DST faucet in the kitchen. At first we thought great. We had seen these types of faucets advertised and they looked like they would be very useful. We found that the touch option is more of a hindrance than a help. It is any bodies guess if the water flows when you turn the faucet on or if you have to touch the faucet to get it started. My guess is almost always wrong. Then the faucet seems to turn itself off sometimes without being touched and before the 4 minute timeout. After living here 4 months now the faucet only responds to being touched on the handle not the spout assembly. I did change the batteries when we first moved in because the faucet was not working at all. I am about to remove the touch electronics which seems a shame since this is a very expensive faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only works some of the time We purchased this faucet when remodeling our kitchen. Love the look and in the beginning loved how it worked. It worked great for a few months and then it started to turn on by itself, not turn on when we touched it on the top and now it will only turn on when we touch the base part near the countertop. We replaced the batteries twice already. Paid a lot of money for this faucet and I would expect it to work better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect faucet We love this faucet, with only one exception, which may just be something to get used to. If the water is on, and you want to adjust the volume of water coming out and you adjust it with the handle, of course the water turns off. I believe it would be better to not have the handle have the touch technology because of this situation. Otherwise, we love the look and performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed We purchased this faucet to go with a new sink we installed. We have had it 9 months. Now it doesn't work when tapped to get water and if we do have water flow it doesn't turn off when tapped. Sometimes it doesn't even turn on water when using the handle since the tapping mode doesn't work. Sometimes it just goes on when nobody is even close to it. We have replaced the batteries twice and that doesn't help. We have adjusted the solenoid but to no avail. These faucets are expensive and with the reputation that Delta has I expected more. Very frustrated with this product!
