Product Overview

Install this Charmaine Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless with Soap Dispenser and MagnaTite Docking for a great update to your kitchen. The pull-down spray wand comes free with a gentle tug and gives you total flexibility. The hose extends and retracts without friction points, fed by gravity. As you raise the wand to dock it, the magnet embedded in the spout pulls the wand precisely into place. So, unlike other pull-downs that tend to droop over time, MagnaTite keeps your pull-down faucet looking picture-perfect. Delta's exclusive DIAMOND Seal Technology uses a valve with a tough diamond coating. InnoFlex PEX waterways keep water inside the faucet out of contact with potential metal contaminants. This powerful combination brings you a faucet built to last up to five million uses. Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.

  • MagnaTite docking keeps the kitchen pull-down spray wand firmly in place with a powerful integrated magnet, so it stays docked when not in use
  • Single handle lever provides simple control over flow and temperature
  • High-arc pull-down spout swivels 360°
  • DIAMOND seal technology features a valve embedded with diamonds to ensure like new operation for the life of the faucet

Spray configuration button - does it hold your choice or return it to default?

The water spray configuration is changeable by a button, but will it hold either configuration, or does it default to normal every time you turn off the water? I would like to find one that holds the spray configuration instead of having to push the button every time you turn it back on. I just want it to stay there unless I change it to the "regular" flow.
Asked by: Caryopteris
I just bought and installed this faucet. It holds the last position you set it at.

do I need to use a sealant around the base plate when installing on my sink to keep water out?
Asked by: Zach
I was not replacing another faucet so did not need the base plate. I know without the plate no sealant is needed. Unless you need to help keep the plate in place, sealant is likely not needed. Certainly not needed to keep water out.

When I pull out the sprayer, it doesn't pull back up... Even when I feed it, it is difficult. What can I do to adjust i?

Asked by: Hillary
Change the position of the counter weight. Make sure hose is not obstructed by anything under the sink.

Some faucet sprayers will go to straight stream when water pressure is reduced but this one seems to keep the spray when reduced. The pull down sprayer is convenient and the MagnaTite Docking seems to work great as well. We also like that the handle pulls forward and that the straight up position is the farthest it will go as it works nicely when you don't have much room behind the faucet. Mounted on granite so we didn't use the mounting plate. It's really a nice, clean look. So far...great!

I have no hole to mount it so I'm not using the soap dispenser. I like that the pull down will stay extended and only retract if I guide it up. it helps to not splash water if I can keep it low in the sink. The handle works well and is easy to use, (except that I'm left handed and it's awkward for me to use). The 32" water service tubes were easy to connect and eliminated the need for additional connection hoses, otherwise the faucet works well and is a good product overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted! I spent far too many hours researching, Pinteresting :-) and looking at stores. I originally wanted a commercial style pull out faucet, but decided they do not have the reach and flexibility to swirl around the bottom of the sink. I also like that you can leave this on spray mode while docked and gently rinse items in colander. I also like that it doesn't have the pull to automatically retract, I don't like the tension those have while using. It returns easily to docking position and it snaps in tight with the magnet. We also mounted it with the handle to the front directly under the arc, as I had seen others had done. This works well for access with either hand, and I just think it looks nice. Soap dispenser works well, I just like everything about this and am very happy with my choice! My husband installed without any issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I just remodeled our kitchen. I have got to have a faucet that allows for pull down and continuous flow whether it be spray or straight stream. This is awesome! Its got quite a range of motion, and I love the magnetic piece that pulls the sprayer back up into the arc. I also like that the button is easy to change the sprayer from straight stream to spray and back while using it, and leaves it in whatever mode you had it in. (my old one changed the spray automatically back to straight stream when you turned off the water) Its been in over a month now and I LOVE it, highly recommend, worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, looks and works great! I've installed this faucet in two kitchens now (previous home, and new to us home). Installation is easy, and initial quality is great. I can't speak to long term quality just because I've only used them for a few months. This is most definitely superior to the similar looking Glacier Bay product which it replaced in one kitchen. The hose retracts perfectly, and the magnetic holder provides confidence that the faucet will never have the problem of not fully retracting. We're loving it, and are confident that Delta will be around to provide replacement parts if that day comes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Plumber installed it on 11/3 and had him rotate handle from right side to front on 11/12. Problems reported by others: 1. Installation – I avoided others’ DIY problems by having my plumber install it. 2. Weak MagnaTite docking of pull-down spray wand – Just a tiny push and magnet and weight under sink pull it back onto end of faucet and keep it there. 3. Small temperature range – we get all hot to all cold in the 90º handle range. 4. Water pressure problems – none, we get powerful stream and spray. Does this depend entirely on the diameter of the supply lines? Cons – adjusting handle for water volume is not as easy or smooth as I wish but acts like a packing nut is too tight. Pros – feature-rich; spray/stream toggle on pull-down wand; stainless steel and style look great; high arch and 360º effortless swivel; wipe-clean spray holes; easy aerator removal with provided tool. Recommendation for handle position – mounting the handle in the front and not on the right side as pictured makes it much easier to use, and puts hot/cold positions intuitively towards the left/right as with old-style single-handle faucets. Plus, either hand can now reach the handle whereas in the pictured position it’s really awkward to reach it with your left hand. Don’t know why I didn’t buy this faucet earlier!

Just installed this faucet and found it pretty straightforward replacement installation for anyone with basic handyman skills. We did not install or want the soap dispenser but the other features of this product, the reviews, and the brand's general reliability were attractive (the pull down sprayer with the magnetic mount and the flexibility of installing on multiple sinks, as we may be replacing our sink oneday). Besides the easy install, the swivel mechanism is very easy to turn and the spray pattern and normal aerator spray is a nice feature. The key unknown is, of course, long term reliability and we are hoping that selecting a quality brand with a good warranty will be worth the investment over the cheaper products.
