Assuming you have the newer 468-DST type faucet and not the older ball/washer/springs type: to diagnose the problem: these steps are quite easy: under the sink, turn both the cold & hot water supply lines "off"; turn your faucet to the "on" position hot/cold to relieve pressure in the lines; now remove the faucet handle, unscrew the the trim around the cartridge, use a crescent wrench to remove the cartridge; now remove the "hub assembly" (faucet base) should pull straight up & out, it is not threaded/secured in any way---take care not to let the faucet spray hose slip down under the sink. Now the base of the faucet inlet should be exposed with three holes looking up at you: one each for hot/cold water inlet and one for the outgoing flow to the faucet hose. Place a bucket upside-down over these holes along with some rags here/there. Next, under the sink, turn the hot water side back "on". Normally, hot water would spurt/flow into the bucket. If hot water is NOT coming out, then you know the problem is NOT the cartridge. Rather, the problem lies either in the hot water supply leading to the shut-off valve, the shut-off valve or the line leading from the shut-off valve to the base of the faucet inlet. If you DO have have hot water flowing into the bucket, then the problem is probably the cartridge. Call Delta and they will (probably) send you a new cartridge for free. (With the 3 holes exposed, this procedure can also to use to check for a blockage in the hose which leads into the wand. Disconnect/unscrew the hose from the wand, place a clear receptacle (drinking glass, etc.) upside-down over the three holes; now blow into the end of hose. water should spurt out of the third hole. see any debris? after all of the water is pushed out of the hose, you should be able to easily blow air from the end of the hose up thru the hole in the base. If you cannot, figure out a way to force air from the third hole back thru the hose (reversing the process perhaps using a length of tubing from mouth-to-hole, a bicycle pump, air compressor). If something is still blocked: under the sink, you will see where the hose connects to the line leading up to the third hole. It should have a metal bracket (which prevents an accidental disconnect) around the connection. Pop/snap off the bracket, now pull/twist down on the hose connector, it should separate from the connection. Now blow into the hose. Still blocked? Now blow into the third hole. Still blocked?
If you still have problems, call Delta or post here and I will respond.

Answer:
Thank you for your question and I apologize that you are having an issue with your Delta Faucet model # 468-SD-DST. The first thing to check is that the hot water line is turned on underneath your sink and there there is not a blockage. If it is on, then it could be the cartridge. We recommend contacting our Home Owner/Warranty line at 800-345-3358 for further troubleshooting.
Thanks.

Double check the hot water turn off valve under the sink. It is usually on the left side. Turn the knob to the left, counter clockwise.

Thank you for your question. There may be debris in the cold water lines that is preventing the flow. We would suggest flushing the lines to remove the debris.

Answer:
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 468-SD-DST does not have screen that is removable. If you need to clean your screen, we recommend soaking the whole wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water overnight. This will loosen any mineral deposits that may have built up in the faucet.
Thanks.

Hi John,
The faucet comes with a tool to remove the aerator, which contains the screen.
You can obtain the tool from Delta if you do not have one.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and worked great for almost a whole year... Picked this up to help spruce up my kitchen sink.. Installation was a snap except for needing flange adapters that are hard to find locally. Had zero complaints until tonight when I came home to a leaking faucet. Not only Was the nozzle leaking but also from the handle and apparently down the barrel as my under sink cabinet was flooded. Guess I'll either try to find a cartridge or replace the whole unit which would be a shame as cosmetically the unit has held up great... August 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Delta Cicero Kitchen Faucet - Starting leaking after only a few months No problem with assembly and the look is great, however, installed this faucet over this last winter (January 2016) and it just started leaking this past week (June 2016). Leaks from under the handle as well as from within the faucet which ends up in a bucket under the sink. Leaks both hot and cold water. Very disappointed with the quality of this project. We were told by more than one contractor not to purchase our hardware from a big box store, however, the price was affordable. Looking back, I wish we would have listened to the professionals and paid the higher price for a better quality product. Not sure it will be worth replacing bad parts with the same quality parts from Delta. Hoping to get some resolution from the manufacturer on a replacement product. June 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Faucet connection is weak. Same as another complaint!! We bought this faucet and initially were very happy but just recently the faucet portion popped off the connector portion under the sink. The whole system was wobbling on the sink making it completely useless. We dissected into the problem and saw that the metal connector piece (with continuous treads) that screws into the bottom of the faucet was not secure. We could screw it back in but with just a small amount of manipulation the thing would pop off again. The problem is the section of the faucet (plastic) where the metal connector screws into..... is so thin that there is no strength between the two. Oh, and it seemed that the screws and large washer provided were not stainless steel either. We are not happy with what happened and even more unhappy at how much time we wasted to try to fix it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it, love it, love it... This faucet was chosen based on reviews from several sites. Due to necessity, I've learned a lot about home repairs and have morphed into "handy-woman". This faucet was very easy to install. In fact, it was the easiest faucet I've ever installed. The length of the water lines was enough to connect to the water supply even after moving the sink position 17+ inches away from one water supply. Water flow in both spray and non-spray is excellent. Not only does the faucet look durable, it feels durable. The soap dispenser is a feature that makes my life easier eliminating the need to keep bending to put dish soap away or having the dish soap on the counter - less clutter. December 5, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by what an improvement This faucet is so much nicer than the one it replaced. It's easy to use, switches smoothly from spray to stream and back, a study feeling hose, and is easy to keep clean. March 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to use and doesn't make a mess when using sprayer. When we bought this product the package was damaged and we didn't realize that the base gasket was cracked and plate was bent. I immediately contacted Delta via email and told them what I needed and they sent the parts right away and of course free of charge. The only part of the design I'm not sure of, is the button on top to switch the tap from stream to spray. It works very well and I am hoping that it doesn't wear out fast because of the material the button is made of but it's new so time will tell. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends. Very happy with the faucet and service I received from Delta!!! Thanks!!! May 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by average product I wish the spray options were located under the handle instead on top of handle. I think for the price, it could be a little heavier. It's very light. I like, but not sure if I would purchase again. Very easy to clean. July 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Faucet!!! A great faucet, just what we were looking for. Easy to install. Nice to have the soap dispenser too. April 16, 2013
