I need to replace my faucet and it measures 6 inches from hot to cold handle. It is similar to the Aragon 4 in. Centerset 2-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet.

The length of this one is 8.75. Can I still install this one or will it be too long? If I can't could you recommend similar ones like the Delta Classic 2523 .

Thanks

Answer:
I don't understand your concern. The 8.75" is the distance from the handle end to handle end when the handles are in a closed position (the handles are both pointing straight away from each other). Unless there is a space restraint from left to right, then there should not be a problem. I would guess that the 8.75" is much less than the available width allowed by the sink width. The base width (part that Read More

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2523LF-MPU is a chrome faucet and it is our basic faucet while the stainsteel model has a special finish that is applied. Chrome will still hold up as well as stainless steel as long as you don't use an abrasive cleaner on it. Also, both models are under warranty to the original owner for their finish. If you ever have an issue with either finish, please Read More

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by update of my previous review My initial review was very critical of the very rough popup and closing action of the sink stopper. This is a revision and clarification of that review. If I had replaced the bathroom faucets AND drains with the Delta parts, this would not have been an issue. But I only replaced the faucets, since the drains and stoppers were working fine. And there was nothing in the (minimal) instructions to say that it was necessary to replace everything. So I saved myself some installation work, and created more work troubleshooting the issue. [The "solution" by the way was duct tape!, to keep the clip and pull rod from sliding back and forth.] An aesthetic issue: the faucet nozzle flares out much wider than it appears in the photo. This is, of course, a completely personal opinion. July 26, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not worth the money Installation was routine, until the very last step--connecting the rod that lifts and closes the drain plug. The gasket for the faucet allows a large amount of movement fore and aft, which results in the rod binding up. The opening and closing of the drain becomes a very low-quality and uncertain experience. I consider the gasket to be a design defect. The gaskets on the faucets that were replaced (Moen) had a hole that, combined with the hole at the back of the faucet, kept the rod moving in a straight line, and the opening and closing was quite smooth. I've never had this experience before with any other faucet, and have no idea why the gasket was so poorly designed. I didn't need this unexpected aggravation! July 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Delta Classic Faucet Nice looking faucet. No issues with installation. A bit early yet to evaluate quality - time will tell. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking faucet! We are very happy with this faucet. It is good looking and seems to operate perfectly. It has a nice solid feel to it. The water saver feature doesn't seem to detract from the appearance of the water flow. April 21, 2015
