I've never had a Acrylic Tub before but, this seems to be the answer to steel or cast iron. Very light weight and easy to maneuver. It has a High Gloss finish and anti-skid pattern on the bottom. I am currently remodeling my Bathroom and I must tell you, Measure, Measure, Measure. I have a older home and the Tub I have is smaller both ways. (See Pictures) My tub is on the side wall so I'll have to retro the walls in both directions. They still make smaller Tubs but, my Wife wanted this Soaker. Very Pleased.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Micah Good tub for the money.
It's a tub. It's pretty light weight. I was able to bring it inside by myself. It's a tub... Not much else to say. It hold water when I want it to and drains when I want it to...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by deide Nice appearance and depth of tub
The install went very nicely and I was quite pleased with the soundness of the tub itself. As with any tub or shower project, accuracy of measure, square and level is vital for installation. It alleviates a great deal of frustration later. The tub I replaced was sad and not even 10 years old. I really like this one, and especially the texture on the floor of the tub. It gives good grip, yet doesn't did a grinding wheel to clean it. A nice change to our home.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wishiwasdone WHAT KIND OF ADHESIVE?
Tub is light and very easy to move with two people. Installation has some quirks. For example, recommended framing spacing is 14 and 5/8 inches. Drain and overflow kit needs to fit a 16 and 1/2 inch tub height (not to be found in my HD store).
Instructions say to attach apron support to apron with adhesive. Manufacturer will not recommend specific product. Loctite "Power Grab" does not work. Manufacturer says tub is polystyrene, support is labeled with re-cycle number "7 - Other". Loctite tech support says to use their "Plastic bonding system", a superglue type product with an activator pen. We will see if that works.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WYRN This bathtub is just as it is described and I believe it will work well. There was a small piece broken on it.
Although this hasn't been used yet as we are still under construction, the bathtub appears to be just as ordered. It does seem to be a nice deep tub. There was however a small, nonfunctional piece on the front bottom corner that was broken when it arrived.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gallus A product to convert fans of cast-iron bathtubs
Bathtubs. Let's say you want a tub on the second floor. Let's say you want a tub that doesn't have that cheap cellophane feeling. The classic approach is cast iron, but you need a couple of gorillas to haul that thing up your stairs. Acrylic bathtubs are pretty amazing this way -- they don't quite feel like cast iron (they're not as stiff), but they do insulate well and have a very similar subtle sheen. It's not quite porcelain, but at something like a quarter the weight, it's a good trade-off. This tub arrived by truck, and its feather-weight meant that it was easily removed from the truck.

Front of the bath tub is made from very thin plastic. Do not order on line. Go to the store and check the front of the tub. Save yourself problems.
